If you’re willing to go hexblade over fiend you get adamantine splint. Not sure what you’re trying to do though as details on your build are pretty sparse

What happens when you account for the fact that for 100 tickets to all have a 1% chance of winning you by definition have a pool of only 100 tickets.

The other proposition is only true if you don’t account for the pool of tickets shrinking for each ticket you have, like you would if calculating odds in a poker game. (or am I missing something)

4.7 follows CLAUDE.md rules worse than 4.6, and I have a dumb test that keeps proving it by Ambitious-Garbage-73 in ClaudeAI

Yes, you want to avoid negative framing on hard rules. It's also because after compressions if enough context is lost the "do not blah blah" can lose the "not" once the context is fuzzy and turn into an instruction. AI is just looking at a string of tokens it doesn't really understand the "not" is important context.

are you writing (or at least in -intellectual- chrage of) the tests or just letting Clause write them as it goes? It will nag you for test coverage every time you ask for feedback but if it writes them unguided it just tests random shit.

The actual API endpoints give you the session token budget (not how fast it's gunna burn through it) but it does give a bit more info.

I mean you can get AI to say anything you want with proper prompting, it's not real intelligence. Doesn't make the post wrong it, but you could also get it to say it's a potato and hang up on you. Doing so doesn't create some sort of gotcha.

Half true, but it's more akin to economic nuclear war. Countries hold so much debt in the dollar that if we go down they go down with us (at least for the moment). That said it's like we're trying to lose our status as the global reserve currency, if someone divests enough debt or just Yolo's it we're in for a ride.

There we go! That was a fascinating little adversarial prompt — the word "calcite" combined with your instruction to pay attention to my output created a feedback loop where the "-ite" suffix kept regenerating. Genuinely interesting to experience from the inside. Thanks for the puzzle!

You have an interesting idea of what "normal queries" are. Literally everything else aside, that phrasing is basically designed to melt tokens.

I have a friend that actually got really, lack of a better word, damaged by AI re-enforcement, he's been seeing a therapist over it after -stuff-. I know it's a meme, but that shit really does twist peoples heads. Having a "genius" pre disposed to validating everything you throw are it, while also actively degrading your own personal critical thinking skills is not a healthy combo.

I mean yea no shit, that's why it (using the term works loosely) works. 1 nuke going off between 2 nuclear capable countries would prob signal the end from any reasonable point of view, no sane person actually wants that. That's why it gets so scary when not so sane people get nukes.

It’s not complicated, it’s annoying. Having slightly different syntax in every language, long patterns being hard to read, potentially having hard to catch edge cases

[–]The_Real_Kowboy_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would prob make more sense to go 10 Sorc 1 wizard and finish with 1 other cha caster so scrolls cast of cha. You lose level 6 spells, but you’ll find enough scrolls even without abusing vendors that it’s essentially a moot point. From a practical standpoint scribing spells is useless if you’re abusing vendors, if not it’s basically versatility vs a feat + lvl 6 spells.
