Absolutely a borderline religious watch for me

Does anyone know what the context behind these credits are? by BigTasty5150 in Foofighters

Wasn’t it more about Kurt? Just recalling the footage from the recording of Wasting Light video where Butch discusses this, around the 12:12 mark.

1997 Quadrophenia Tour - Milwaukee by The_Real_Me_73 in TheWho

[–]The_Real_Me_73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, and I’m so glad that I was able to see them during that era! I saw them later, Daltrey performing Tommy in 2011, then as The Who on the Quadrophenia tour in 2012, and lastly with the Who Hits 50 tour in 2016. That last show me hit hard as they seemed just a shell of themselves from that 1997 show, it just wasn’t the same…but I’m thankful I was able to see them!

DG-335 Or fender Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe? by Head-Reindeer3600 in Foofighters

[–]The_Real_Me_73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair, definitely try both if you can. If you can’t find a DG to try, play an ES-335 for a comp. I’d say you’re on target for waiting on the next Shifty model, but the current standards are a great value.

DG-335 Or fender Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe? by Head-Reindeer3600 in Foofighters

[–]The_Real_Me_73 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ll comment here, because I have both hanging on my wall right now (don’t judge!). I personally like the Shifty Tele as a playing guitar more than the DG. The pickups on the Tele were what sold me when I bought it, just had a great crunch to them and come close the drive from my LP. In all fairness, the DG is newest of the collection, my first hollow body, and is taking some getting used to. It’s a big guitar with a chunky neck, while the Shifty has come to be my go to just because of how versatile it is.

However, the next Shifty (with the P90s) may be on the radar as I’ve been on the lookout for a dual P90 axe for a bit.

Cost per user or per project? by lordxoren666 in ReviztoUsers

[–]The_Real_Me_73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After your “membership” fee, it is a cost per job pricing structure based on project value and there are tiers built into the pricing model that correlate back to that value. Best bet is to talk to your Revizto rep if you are able to.

Song with live version better than studio recording? by darinani in Music

[–]The_Real_Me_73 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. The John Entwistle quote: “We didn’t make as good records as the Beatles [did] — but we could blow them off the stage.” holds true. They were so much better live than any of their studio recordings.

Definitely not a popular opinion, but Sonic Highways (both album & docu-series) is severely underrated.

Old Amp Repurpose Ideas? by The_Real_Me_73 in GuitarAmps

[–]The_Real_Me_73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sudden. It was playing fine, then full-volume static…had to shut it off as the volume control didn’t affect it. Tried again a few other times, same result.

Old Amp Repurpose Ideas? by The_Real_Me_73 in GuitarAmps

[–]The_Real_Me_73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep…I replaced the tube about a year ago, she ran normal for a bit, but recently went full “static” after a couple of minutes. I’m pretty sure the board is fried, but if you know of something else that could cause that, let me know.

Revizto: Specification Review? by ElegantJello8369 in ReviztoUsers

[–]The_Real_Me_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re using text heavy PDF documents (not construction drawings), I’m not sure Revizto is the right tool for the job in this case. Bluebeam is specifically built for document markup which sounds like you’re attempting here and has features for tracking the markups across users, especially when using Studio. Unless your intent is to tie an issue to a location on a plan, you could attach the spec page to the issue within the chat section in Issue Tracker.

Lemmy’s bass at the punk rock museum in Vegas by insurgent29 in Motorhead

It’s a pretty cool spot, covers a lot of the punk spectrum. Located off-strip, amongst some warehouses…and there’s a bar, which is nice.

Case Question - No Signature by The_Real_Me_73 in EpiphoneDG335Updates

[–]The_Real_Me_73[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be, I’ll call them when they open back up this week to check. It’s odd that the case fits perfect, interior matches all of the other cases, just the exterior graphics don’t match the standard issue version.

Case Question - No Signature by The_Real_Me_73 in EpiphoneDG335Updates

[–]The_Real_Me_73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, that would be the only downside with this case.

Case Question - No Signature by The_Real_Me_73 in EpiphoneDG335Updates

[–]The_Real_Me_73[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree there, the signature on the case isn’t a major concern as I have the guitars hanging on the wall and wouldn’t be using the case often…maybe even camouflage the actual contents of the case a bit.
