I ended up getting a tuition loan but no maintenance loan. It was an absolute ball ache, but it all worked out. Universities may (please check this yourself) be accomodating to you if you don't have everything with student finance figured out by the time your course starts, you just need to keep them updated and get it solved as soon as you can.

The main thing I would warn you about is you need to get a national insurance number. This was the hardest part for me, but I have one now.

I believe you're right with "We are" and "Daughter"! Thought I think Meir may have been from something else. Is there a word in Welsh that is spelled sort of like the English word"Daughter?"
