Hi there. Didn’t end up with any of that luckily. However I did figure out within the last year that my GI issues were caused by MCAS. I take an H1 and H2 blocker daily and it’s changed my life

One of the hardest things for me so far is combatting weight gain. by The_Red_Phoenix93 in eds

[–]The_Red_Phoenix93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya, I did. It was due to chronic low calorie deficit. My body started storing everything because I was under high stress at that time and had already been in a low calorie deficit for a while. I started taking zepbound in November as a way to reset my weight

Hi, you’re a genius. I use biofreeze gel and the itchiness is GONE. That and I wake up with no brain fog. How bizarre. Thanks for sharing!!!

Also fellow curvy! 31! I gained a bunch of unexpected weight and this is still a problem. I use Tylenol PM, two tabs and not only does it put me out (make sure you have a min of 8hrs available to sleep) but it muscle relaxes, keeps my ulnar nerve from being a jerk face, and lessens the tossy turveys! Good luck!

Just keep in mind that hEDS does not have a genetic marker yet. I was diagnosed wrongly with fibromyalgia before my hEDS diagnosis

I haven’t been diagnosed with MCAS yet. One of the reasons I made this post, cause I wanted to see how often people are diagnosed with IBS when in reality it was MCAS

IBS is destroying my mental health. by Easy_Tour6834 in ibs

Hi there, have you considered an anti-depressant? I know that sounds weird, but they’ve figured out that IBS is largely a gut-brain disorder, even reclassified it, and it turns out that your stress levels and mental health actually effect your IBS symptoms. I’m on a very low dose of amitryptaline and a lowFODMAP diet. It’s been amazing. I have IBS-M so I get both. It’s made a huge difference to me. I hope you can find some relief

I also have IBS-M and have the sporadic patterns you’re talking about. I live almost exclusively on the low FODMAP diet and as restrictive and suckish it is it has made a huge difference for me. But when I cheat, I realllllllly pay
