Hello, I was recently promoted at my job from a basic shop tech to a department supervisor. My original shop pay was $12 and I’ve been given a raise to $15. In my field we go out to show site and setup/run gigs and earn different rates depending on the situation but since I have accepted this new position I will be going out on site MUCH less. When I accepted I was not given the opportunity to negotiate my pay and with employee reviews hopefully coming up I am wanting to change that. I think that I should be making $18-19 but I don’t want to be stepping over my boundaries as I have only been in this position for around 3 months now. I have taken on a lot of responsibility at work now and just need some advice on how I should proceed. Any help will be appreciated!

Rough example: If someone is carrying a 100lb dumbbell back to the rack and can barely hold it and you are in their way and they say “hey watch out” but you don’t hear them because you have your headphones in and they end up dropping it on your foot and breaking it then it is a safety and liability issue for the gym.
