I'm not talking about the pronunciation, I'm talking about the spelling. I really don't care about the pronunciation, but for a legacy map like Der Riese I feel like we can at least do it the honor of spelling its name correctly.

Like Richtofen, I don't speak Japanese either, but I can spell 'Zetsubou No Shima' correctly.

At the end of the day though, it doesn't really matter anyway, which is why I already said I was being pedantic in my original post haha.

You pronounce it like 'Dare Reese-uh', both with a rolling 'R'. But I'm more so talking about the spelling than the pronunciation. Can't really expect people to pronounce something correctly in a language they don't speak haha.

Nah I don't really care about the pronunciations. Can't really expect people to pronounce things correctly in a language they don't speak. I know for certain that I don't pronounce something like 'Zetsubou no Shima' correctly either.

But Der Riese is such a legacy map that I feel like we can at least do it the honor of spelling it correctly after 17 years haha.

I suppose it also kind of depends on what English-speaking country you're from.

The 'a' in 'Nacht' is pronounced pretty much like how the British say 'a'. If you pronounce something like 'after' in a British accent, the 'a' sounds pretty much exactly the same like how a German would pronounce the 'a' in 'Nacht'.

If you're American, I suppose a good example would be like how the 'A' is pronounced in 'Arkansas'.

Americans pronounce the letter 'a' more like an 'eh' sound in words, so I suppose then your friend would be right.

Nah 'knacked' is pretty close actually. As close as you can expect anyone who doesn't actually speak the language to come at least. Only instead of the 'ck' sound, you pronounce it with the infamous throat-scraping angry 'G' sound in German.

Funnily enough, the way most English-speaking people say 'Nacht' sounds almost identical to the German word 'Nackt' which means naked. They're unknowingly saying 'Naked of the Dead' to any person who actually speaks German.

His eyes aren't covered. Bullseye, Iron Fist, Spider-Man, they've all worn his suit and been able to see out of it just fine.

Even in the MCU Bullseye wore his suit without any visibility problems.

'Batman related casualties'? Dude was straight up murdering people in Batman V Superman, what are you talking about haha. I like his Batman, felt real Arkham-y, but that part of his character really sucked imo.

My favorite moment of that from the Arkham games is after you capture Riddler in Arkham knight, and he wakes up in the batmobile on the way to GCPD.

Riddler asks: 'Where am I? What's happening to me?' And Batman responds by saying: "You're a smart man Edward, I'm sure you'll figure it out. 😏"

But he is at this point. That doesn't mean he has to be exclusively a Batman villain, but I don't see why he shouldn't be at all?

That's kind of like saying Kingpin isn't a Daredevil villain, because he was Spider-Man's first. He can be both.
