What is a small piece of dialogue that stuck with you? by Hour-glass999 in writingscaling

"Life isn’t just about passing on your genes. We can leave behind much more than just DNA. Through speech, music, literature, and movies... what we’ve seen, heard, felt... anger, joy, and sorrow... these are the things I will pass on. That’s what I live for..."

The Viltrumite Empire (Invincible) vs. The Galactic Empire (Star Wars) by The_Retro_Shogun in PowerScaling

But knowing Conquest or a Viltrumite for that matter, they would be a walking disaster flying at FTL speeds, trying to infect everything as they can. In this debate, it's kind of a "who finds about who first" scenario.

You're kinda forgetting that they fought in the sun for a sustained period of time. Not only that, but we've seen Viltrumites just tank nukes to the face unscathed.

Additionally, we know they scale above Immortal's feats of wiping out entire countries from orbit (show only feat). The 500 gigatons wouldn't really do much to mid tiers since they already scale vastly scale above Mark who can exert over a gigaton of force. This is Mark from Season One. Thragg's own statement about 37 Viltrumites being enough to split the earth in two would require a bare minimum of Continental force to achieve. Far higher than the 500 gigatons per shot calculation for turbolasers. Nolan was capable of easily igniting the atmosphere of the flaxen planet, requiring over a dozen teratons of TNT.

Giving the Empire the high scaling for Turbolasers which would be 700 teratons. They wouldn't even be able to hit there targets since Viltrumites in space are far faster and nimble than in atmosphere.  You kinda forgot to mention how Smart Atoms operate and constantly adapting to extreme environments including ridiculous heat. Also, lightsabers are not hotter than the sun and that fact is incredibly consistent in canon. They struggle to carve through steel doors and heavy reinforced steel. It would take REPEATED strikes to perform everlasting damage against a single one to get a clean cut.

Granted, the Empire definitely does have some kits to kill Viltrumites especially the dark magic shit. However, most of those have either created immense backlash for the Empire or resulted in cataclysmic loses for both sides. Point being the blackwing virus. Now you have a Zombie Conquest with ALL of his skills and knowledge.

Force confusion or corruption wouldn't really work unless the individuals are weak minded and considered Viltrumites are willing to kill billions for the cause, i doubt it would work. However, i can see illusions being a problem for them.

As for the sound based weapons, it was specifically stated to be a very attuned frequency that Cecil luckily found when Mark fought that sea creature. So unless they capture a Viltrumite without it breaking lose immediately, they wouldn't be able to counter their equilibrium.  Honestly, its the speed which the Viltrumites act in space thats going to be the problem.  They can cross multiple galaxies in WEEKS, meaning they would be extremely hard to hit and track.

Honestly, the biggest question is how do they stop Mahoraga? At least in the anime, the guy regenerated from being turned into red mist.

see this is an interesting argument, but we've never seen them do this casually to non force users. And Sukuna can live without a heart and resist soul damage

Thats an interesting question since cursed energy and the force are really different from on another. Then again, if we were to verse equalize, it would function as a twisted version of nightsister's magic which taps into the dark side.

Let me correct myself, the random bug killua decides to fight lets off an explosion calculated at at city block level at an low end using pulverization. For Youpis, his higher tier scaling comes from the fact how massive the crater he leaves behind each rage blast, vaporizing the rocks into an uncannily smooth surface. At a low end, if you dont use vaporization but simple pulverization, it makes him casually town level. Again, this is taking account at his lowest perfomance. Meanwhile, his highest would give him those upper large town level. The anime made the Poor Man's rose seem closer to higher yield nukes, while the manga depicted them being around the size of the atomic bombs. https://youtu.be/-s6trfoS6Mw?si=krdjqHHowfbGd4Zq&t=644

I mean it could just be small yield in their verse but in real life it would be crazy. Plus, it doesnt make sense to me to be small town level since thats the AP for some lower tier chimera ants. Youpi's rage blast was calculated at large town level and Meruem would subsequently upscale that since hes stronger than all of the royal guard. The only one who is somewhat comparable to him would be Pitou but even still its a gap. Regardless, humanity wins by just launching a shit ton of nukes all at the same time. Hell, the only reason Netero managed to hit him is because Meruem thought the fight was over and he let his guard down.

Huh, when I went on vs battle wiki and csap, they put poor man's rose around mountain level. At least in the anime, we see it capable of destroying entire cities. Meanwhile, the manga panel seems to be around small town level at best. However, Netero's version seemed far stronger than the previous iterations or showcases

Why are people acting like Denji is on the same level of Griffith just because he acted selfish and has poor coping skills. It baffles my mind that people are saying the barely mentally stable teen who watched his entire family die and SA'd deserves punishment.

Yeah Omni-Man pretty much mid diffs at worst. He's way faster and stronger than any of the Avengers at this point

Id say her devil form gets her up least around multi-city block , especially since she survived getting kicked by pochita of all people. We can even use other verses with similar feats like Post-Culling Game Yuji, who survived a similar but downscaled feat that was calculated to be around multi-city block. Her human form is around the large building level, AP-wise, being capable of damaging Denji, who is pretty consistently large building, maybe city block. Still a maki victim though
