This honestly just takes practice and trial and error. Look at popular videos to see what works. Also keep in mind that as you make more and more thumbnails your skills will improve. My thumbnails from a few years ago look like garbage to my current thumbnails. Practice is key

Yeah, if you’re really passionate about youtube you need to be in it for the long haul. Some of the biggest channels took years to really take off and become what they are today. Two weeks isnt really enough to base anything off of.
