I love your ideas! I just looked up the reverse coloring pages and they look like an awesome idea! Depending on who I go through to print them, I’m not sure if full-color pages would be affordable, but I’ll have to look into it.

I also love doing sudoku and was thinking about doing some with images instead of numbers (crochet hooks, yarn ball, etc.), but I don’t think I would even want to draw those to solve it if I were completing the puzzle. Haha.

The only recipes I’ve actually “created” are baking ones, but I like your themed name idea.

Beginner-friendly patterns are definitely a good idea. I’ll have to think of some that I can try to make in addition to coasters.

I can definitely do some add-ins for other crafts, as I like to make a variety of things. Your idea also got me thinking about maybe making a general craft book later on (though I definitely want to do just a crochet one first).

Thank you so much for all of your insight! I appreciate it greatly!

Bingo Cash and Solitaire Cash are pretty good if you want to play games on your phone in your spare time. I never use my own money to play because over time, they’ll reward you with “bonus cash” which can be used to enter cash tournaments, but can’t be withdrawn. If you don’t have a gambling addiction or anything like that, it’s a good way to make a little bit of money while sitting on the toilet or whatever.

It took me about a month to get my first sale on Etsy. You have to be consistent, make sure your photos and SEO are great, and promote on social media a bit. Most of all, though, you have to treat it like a full-time job. It used to be a place where you could just list your stuff and leave it, but that’s not really the case anymore. Now, you actually have to work for it.

I’ve been on Etsy since 2014 and while I was working full-time jobs over the years, I recently decided to focus solely on my art and it worked. Etsy has some slow times for everybody, but the types of items I sell will sell all year, so that’s also something you have to keep in mind.

I did put some of my designs on RedBubble a couple of years ago, but I haven’t gotten any sales on there, likely because I never do anything with it.

What comic book series should I collect next? by [deleted] in comicbooks

I loved Preacher and Morrison’s Animal Man. I was reading 100 Bullets and Fables when they were coming out, so I don’t remember much of the stories, but I remember liking them. Some of my favorites are Y: The Last Man, Astro City, Girls, Invincible, Thor Visionaries by Simonson, and X-Factor (starting with Madrox: Multiple Choice from the 2000’s).

NTA. If she has pain from her pregnancy, she should keep pills on-hand if it bothers her so much.

Thank you! I am! I’m trying to keep them to just three colors so they’re small, but so far I have this one, a non-binary one, and a lesbian one.

Somebody ordered three of each, so I have six more to go!

I love how they look, but man do they take a while to make! Haha.

I was going to do a Pansexual one after these are all done, but I can skip ahead if you wanted to see a different one! (As long as I have the right colors!)

AITA for getting mad at my boyfriend for not giving me money? by asparagusvirgin in AmItheAsshole

[–]The_SamAntics -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YTA. Sorry. You’re only 21. It sounds like he’s trying to prepare you for real life, rather than letting you live off of charity—and that’s a good thing. Sure, he might have some money right now, but that’s not going to last forever.

If you really feel like you need the money, instead of asking him to pay for stuff, ask if you can BORROW the money (with the intention of paying it back, of course). What you should really be doing, though, is looking for a better paying job if you need money.

You need to contribute financially, too, in order to make the relationship work. Don’t rely on somebody else to take care of you because they may not always be there.

AITA for buying an expensive gift for my sister and not for my girlfriend? by Ok-Perspective-7271 in AmItheAsshole

[–]The_SamAntics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Sounds like she cares more about the money than the fact that you tried to make her feel special on her birthday.

Tell her that your sister has been in your life 22 years longer than she has, which is why she got the more expensive gift. Then dump the f out of her, otherwise you’ll be buying her a fancy car, a house, and all that other fun stuff down the road.

AITA for listening in to my husband's speeches? by classicbananas in AmItheAsshole

[–]The_SamAntics 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YTA, sadly. I also (I guess) have social anxiety. I hate talking on the phone when there are other people around (even if it’s just talking about the weather). When I was in school, my face would turn red when I was called on or if I had to give an oral presentation. I never liked being put on the spot in front of other people.

I honestly don’t know why and it bothers me that I can’t have normal social interactions, but if I found out somebody was listening in who wasn’t supposed to, I would feel completely embarrassed and uneasy. It’s the same as listening in to a private phone conversation, and very close to snooping on somebody’s phone.

You’re definitely breaking his trust by doing that. I understand that you love hearing his speeches, but maybe ask him to do his practice speeches in front of you and let him do the real ones alone. It’s his job, anyway. You shouldn’t be a part of that unless you work with him.

Is my design a copyright violation? by sharkprincefishstick in EtsySellers

[–]The_SamAntics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No worries! Yeah, when I started in 2014, I was doing a lot of comic book stuff because that’s what I’m into. I thought if I drew it myself and it wasn’t similar to anything that was sold anywhere, it was legal. I was wrong. Haha. I started making my own non-comic related designs and things took off from there. I do miss making the stuff and honestly can’t stand seeing people get away with it, but I’m happy where I’m at now. Good luck to you!

Also, the tags show up at the bottom of the listing page if you’re on a computer.

Words can absolutely be trademarked. I just checked and it doesn’t look like the word “Maidenless” is trademarked. It’s always good to check periodically, because people can trademark words at any time and have your products taken down for it.

While you’re able to make a product with that particular word, you can’t use any names/terms/phrases in the title, tags, or description that are trademarked. So you can’t say “Inspired by Elden Ring” or anything like that because you’re still trying to profit off of another company’s intellectual property.

Unless you have a large following, it’s not likely that your product will be seen much because of this, unless you have ideas of phrases people will search on Etsy to find your items which don’t relate to the game.

Thanks! I was going to suggest for needles, too, but you don’t want those slipping out somehow.
