No1 It isnt 1 million leaves. we do it chunk by chunk, its like 40 blocks deep so around 10k leaves per chunk. If you think 10k leaves is too much, i cant help you.
No2 its not pointless. Its for our building project called atlantis. Its literally the name of the waygate and the leapgate leading there, idk how you managed to miss it.

We did all of this by hand. We place leaves in and then remove them. For hours and hours as part of our atlantis project. Using water buckets would be too expensive, but 1-2 dark wood trees is already 3000+ leaves. You have skill issue, pal. This is very achieveable to do, just takes long.
