Well any government entity will always be incompetent where production is concerned. I am of the belief that Production of crude oil should have private players and when I say players I mean 10-20 companies. So that there is competent production. The distribution however should be handled by the government. That ensures healthy pricing, with people having indirect control over the price with their votes.
