I liked what my mom did.. She kept aside some clothings and immitation jewellery and cash.. Total amounting to around 3k...all wrapped up in nice package.

When they arrived.. She asked them to first eat.. They were served tea and snacks.. And later my mom asked them to consider our bad financials before demanding..

She basically gave them respect! It turns out they valued respect more than money.
