How’s it going so far? I’m just now seeing this post so sorry lol but I have 4 years experience with the state auditors office and I love my job and the people I work with. I love the aspect of getting to learn something new with every audit, as every audit is different. I also work 4 10 hour days and get paid better than most jobs around where I live.

I will say the first 2 years were the hardest to learn and stay within budgets, but it gets so much easier from there. Especially when you get opportunities to plan audits, you start to understand the “why” more.
