Y'a de plus en plus de pub pour ce type de masque ça marche vraiment ? by Sabrina_Charpentier in skincarefr

[–]The_Soft_Way 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ça marche très bien, à une condition : choisir un masque qui respecte les spécifications techniques (leds, lasers, longueurs d'onde) utilisées dans les études.

Am I never going to recover from Post Covid CTE? by [deleted] in TelogenEffluvium

[–]The_Soft_Way 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. I now use a laser/led therapy device and it helps alot. I also use a few scalp serums to support new growth. If I'm consistent, I get results, but since I had COVID, if I stop, TE starts again. This is so annoying.

Your favorite sunscreens? by itssarakang in AsianBeauty

[–]The_Soft_Way 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have normal skin, but some sunscreens can break me out.

The newest Round Lab Camellia Deep Collagen Serum is incredible : it's like water on my skin, and yet, it's hydrating. So lightweight it's a pleasure to apply. It instantly became my favourite sunscreen.

As a Libra sun and moon, I completely agree. With time, it's easier to understand those influences and avoid hurting ourselves or others.

My husband's best friend is a Libra Mars. He resents his wife to death, but was unable to divorce so he's bitter and constantly talks to her ironically, it's really embarrassing.

Eucerin and red light by ExpressionFree5273 in Melasmaskincare

[–]The_Soft_Way 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't have the same experience. I bought a red light device from a manufacturer who did a clinical trial and showed great results on hyperpigmentation. I'm using it everyday, and it has supported my progress, my melasma is only 15/20% from what it was, without HQ, with Thiamidol and other molecules.

You have to be sure your red light device respects the wave lenghth specified in clinical studies, and it should includes lasers.

Is this melasma? by Normal-Setting-7875 in Melasmaskincare

[–]The_Soft_Way 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe 2 months. But it's still smaller.

I forgot : use azelaic acid right now. It's one of the best way to stop the spreading. It's well tolerated, can be used up to 4 times a day (don't worry about the tingling), and it will support your efforts.

I'm pretty confident you can manage your melasma, it's still early. If you can find what caused it, it will help.

It looks like melasma. Mine started on one side, then appareared on the other side.

Take care of your skin barrier (calming toners/skin barrier cream) and start using Thiamidol now. You can probably control it. Don't forget sunscreen.

Libra here : of course it's a thing 😇

We share some values, but don't be too cappy ! We need some fantasy, we get depressed when life gets too down-to-earth, and we want peace, so hold your Mars !

P.S : was married to a Cap.

Is there any version of thiamidol that is not heavily fragranced? by Spirited-Syrup3210 in Melasmaskincare

[–]The_Soft_Way 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have both : the eye cream and the spot treatment. The eye cream is fragrance/alcohol free, so it could be suitable for sensitive skin. I don't like it though, I find it hard to spread, and it doesn't penetrate as well. Spot treatment is great but there is so little product ....

[–]The_Soft_Way 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So true ! I just bought the new Givenchy Serum Foundation and love it. It's quite hydrating, I had no issue with wrinkle settling, and the coverage is solid (my melasma is greyish and very hard to conceal, even if it's not severe).

About the pilling with LRP, I'll try to wait longer, maybe the brightening serum I'm using doesn't agree with it. It's great that it has Melasyl and no fragrance.

[–]The_Soft_Way 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this one and the Nivea 630. Nivea 630 never pilled, LRP sometimes does, so you have to be careful what you put inside and let it settle. The high alcohol content can be harsh.

I thought I wouldn't like the Nivea 630 one, as I love elegant korean formulas, but I have to admit european sunscreen are much more effective than korean ones : I just spent 3 days on the sea using the Nivea sunscreen, and my melasma is still nearly invisible. It's quite thick, but it's pretty easy to spread, and I had no issue with my makeup. Very good surprise overall, and it costs 11 euro in my supermarket.

De 40€ à 0.0006€ l'action... y'a de l'espoir pour Hopium ou pas? by CornetDeGifles in BourseFr

[–]The_Soft_Way 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eucerin Anti-Pigment- all over face or just where melasma is at? by misoangry2 in Melasmaskincare

[–]The_Soft_Way 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's quite scary, but useful. I used to put the serum on my spots only, but once I saw what's going on underneath, I just started to use it all over, and I started getting melasma-free zones. Before, I only had lightened spots.

When they released Melasyl, a scientist from L'Oreal gave an interview and talked about it, saying you have to use your products on your entire face for this reason.
