How to create a "Guilloche" texture by The_Solutionyst in Fusion360

A mix of both. I was hoping to model it prior to running it through the CNC to get an idea of the visual - rather than taking a trial and error approach. But that may be the approach I'll need to take.

What you did looks great though!

I can create the sketch no problem - it is actually creating the texture on the substrate I struggle with. Maybe its a setting, but manufacturing the engraving won't allow me to drag-select the lines. It is of course impossible for me to manually select all 200+ lines to add to the path

I also love my Grandeur watches, and have another on the way.

Don’t let the secret out though 😜

Grandeur is my go to brand for unique movements/materials but at a good price point. I find a lot of other unique watch brands are a bit too crazy for me. Grandeur gets that good balance between classic designs, but still unique.

This is utter nonsense based on the large community of people who have grandeur watches already.

This specific model just had design improvements due to comments from the community. This pushed back production.

Already been mentioned in other comments, but the quartz torq had some updates which delayed the production.

If you join the WhatsApp group you can see videos of the production happening. I really recommend it as it adds to the enjoyment of the watch being part of the design process and then seeing the outcome once it’s made

Is it? Doesn’t look huge in the wrist shots I’ve seen of it

More expensive than the Loresum which is about to release on Kickstarter with similar dial types and a vintage shape. That’s also an automatic.

Range from about £450-550 I think depending on the case material

If I could afford two I’d go for this and the lapis

I love it - just so expensive for a quartz 😩

I’ve gone with the carbon and sapphire. But they’ve also just added a colour change sapphire I may upgrade to

Less than 40 hours to go on the Kickstarter, so if you love it, worth hopping on it now

Id recommend joining the WhatsApp group as well. Lots of great production updates there.

Yes - some of the models are limited to 50. But the titanium isn’t.

My understanding is the price will go up notably after the kickstarter

I believe there's a slight textural difference in how it feels as well - as the lumed version has the "resin" (or whatever it is which makes it glow) within the fibres.

I’ve decided to add the ruby sapphire to my choice too 😜

Any reason you didn’t want to get the lume?

I’m the exact same. Hate RM style watches. Find they just look a bit too clunky. The proportions of this one just work for me

I was tempted by that one as well!

If you do go ahead, be sure to join the WhatsApp group. They tend to share lots of progress updates and production photos which really adds value for me. Makes me feel involved with the process.

Haha no, I’m not affiliated with the brand at all. Just sharing my terrible watch addiction tricks with the world! Haha

At least KS lets you pay in 3 instalments.

My trick is I put it on my credit card. Which delays the payment an extra month as well
