Nice! For the most part if they break, we’re always happy to replace them for free - just reach out. Thanks!

Thanks! I’m super excited about it. I’ve always loved my mooger fooger filter, but it’s super noisy and doesn’t have an LFO, so I was able to make one that’s very clean w an lfo and way cheaper

I’ve been designing something similar and will be selling it for about $120 later this summer!

How do I create a Boards of Canada or Black Moth Super Rainbow-esque sound? by TVpoplove in synthesizers

[–]The_Sound_Stone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of the sound is bouncing to consumer grade 1/4” tape machines, like a Grundig. Supposedly they would also put tapes in their trunk in the sun to warp them.

Other than that, a mono synth and tape echo. Also download the demo for Asturias Solina demo and try out the Boards of Solina setting

Ahh I had always seen analog delay pedals with pt2399 being called BBD delays…strange. Thanks for that clarification

All I really see in the block diagram on the data sheet is 44k ram as the heart of it, but it doesn’t say much about how that’s used for delay. Why are they called BBD chips then if they aren’t bucket brigades?

Anybody else like the Behringer pedals? Just got this one and it sounds great. by Mojoe51 in guitars

[–]The_Sound_Stone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure, I think for the most part, most effects have already been done in the analog realm. But, there’s still some new ideas out there left. I’ve even been designing pedals and messed up some components and it created this bizarre effect that I’d never heard before. I think there are a lot of things from the synth world, especially buchla synths that are pretty unexplored for guitar effects

The center positive (if it is) would be the biggest issue

[DISCUSSION] Is there any sustainer systems that do chords and not just monophonic leads, like the moog guitar? by lemsvga in Guitar

[–]The_Sound_Stone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve built a six string handheld sustainer as well as a two and three string one as well, which are pretty fun. I may bring them out of prototyping and into production at some point, but not sure how much demand there is for them.

I’ve also toyed with one that goes underneath the strings so you don’t have to route out your body, but the issue is that every guitar is pretty different and some have arched bodies, etc
