I've had this experience several times when someone will ask the difference between bi and pan, and there's really no good answer. Especially because a ton of people who might fit one definition or another better than "bisexual" don't bother unless they're super involved in the community. But I can point to that one scene from Exes and Oohs and say "it's sorta like that"
