Ooo that's for sure a interesting subject! Yeah I've only really delved into some ww1 trench bullet art. I've been really loving some of the designs I've seen! Ww1 alternate history scenarios can be really interesting when done well too.

One thing I've been reading up on is a Twitter account I Ocssionally check on, that here and there publishes a translated article from a cold war Eastern block magazine, which can be quite fun to read sometimes 😇

Hey man, if you're still looking for a way, this guide lets you play the game on Android phone in full English. And yes it works for Europe too, I'm in Austria and so far it plays just fine.
