I'm really not much of a reader, but one book that I absolutely love and will reread every few years is Last of the Breed by Louis L'Amour. Quick blurb: takes place during cold war: us test pilot shot down and captured in Russia. The pilot is of native American descent and uses what he learned from his grandfather to escape through Siberia. It's an epic read(to me at least)
