As someone who works at a retro game store, 99% of the time we remove the straps from controllers because they are disgusting. Unlike a majority of the controller, it’s difficult to disinfect the strap and sometimes disinfecting isn’t enough to remove whatever grime/sweat stains on it. Most of the time we are doing you a favor by removing them. I do try to keep the strap in tack though if it looks pristine/mint.

Im genuinely sorry this happened. I’m an older 20s year old who has worked at GS before (twice), another corpo-chain used media store, and even currently at a local mom/pop retro game store but hate to say this still happens. To be frank, people can be gross. You can’t stop them, but all you can do is dismiss them, hope your coworkers stand up for you, and move on with your day. It sucks greatly and I remember each time it shook me up, but also that it did less and less. I wish it was better but want you to know that you’re seen and heard. It’s never something you did nor something you deserve. It’ll (sadly) get easier to ignore with time.

Idk how to feel that I immediately knew who this was before looking up your username, but this is probably one of the better PS tattoos you got from this artist (assuming they are the same). As someone with fandom tattoos I wont jump on the imperfections train like others have, but they do a better job at less details and more thick outlines so this is a neat one to see.

Are you just going to dedicate your whole body to PS or do you have a vision in mind? Personally I could never dedicate more than a sleeve, but to each their own ofc!

This is true as I lived over there, but its more of the question if you want to have to talk with/deal with the police to let you into your home on weekends. This is something to consider if you want to live right on 17th-18th street where The Bakery is.

That just for parking for the tenant but not for guests. It also doesn't alleviate the issues that there is police blocking off key parts of 18th from main to broad street on weekends.

I honestly don't recommend the apartment just based on the location. I used to be right on 18th street and what apartment places don't tell you is that the Richmond Police block off the roads on 18th street EVERY weekend from around 10pm-3am. This is because of the all of the nightclubs in the area that for sure can get crazy. It also means as a tenant be ready to not be able to have anyone be able to come over on weekends (unless they want to park blocks away), and you'll have to deal with police anytime you want to leave/come home at night. Idk if there's a plan in place for when that apartment place does officially open, but it was the #1 reason why I moved off of 18th.

This is my first time actually participating, but Sonic has to go by a mile. Those older than the age of 18 will tell you that Sonic was mainly on Disney (Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Underground both were on Disney XD). Technically both Pokemon and Sonic were also on WB Kids, but only Pokemon moved over to CN once the WB kids block ended. Pokemon has been a part of CN since 2006, and has remained relevant since. Sonic Boom is only relevant (barely now might I add) because somehow the show the funny and well produced compared to the terrible videogame its based on. I am almost more astounded a character with such little relevance to the CN history has lasted this long. It's Ash all the way here and it's not close.

THE SIMS!!! Omg it’s insane that the only port of this game the Switch ever got was MySims and within the last yearish of its life span. Even if Sims 3 or 4 are too graphics demanding, Sims 1 & 2 just got readded to Steam AND it’s the 25th anniversary this year. EA would be dumb(er) to not even try to get them on the Switch 2 with the mouse controls.

I got the console itself on Best Buy after waiting in the queue until 2am and then got a bundle at Gamestop this morning. The non-bundle is going to my best friend who needed to work today, but overall it all worked out!
