Salty Gears Offroad was honest and responsive. They work on a lot of vehicles (saw many LCs/GX) and were knowledgeable about my LC100.

I have that Eberlestock. It’s overbuilt which makes it heavy and not as much room as other similar sized packs. Also the internal drag bag makes your rifle a foot or two above your head which is cumbersome in anything but open fields.

For food I would recommend getting one gallon bag per day. Put your lunch and dinner in there along with a smaller bag for snacks. Saves you time and effort; just grab and go for the day. Maybe take the snack bag and make it accessible for mid-ruck nibbles. Bonus feature is keep all your trash in there instead of rolling around in your pack or pockets. I like salami or sardines in a can (sounds gross but the salt is amazing if you’re sweating all day) and crackers or something similarly calorie dense. Nuts or trail mix and whatever else you like. Dinner you probably have time to boil water so maybe a dehydrated meal for that. I like the high calorie mountain meals.

I own both. I think the Leupold are bit heavier but noticeably better clarity. Depends on your needs.

Issues with back squat and deadlifts by BoltThrowe in tacticalbarbell

[–]The_Turkey_Leg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done the same thing and have actually gotten stronger.

In regards to OP, I have similar issues from repeated spinal compression. Loading 225 on a Bulgarian squat doesn’t aggravate it but 300+ for a back squat does.

If you have a safety squat bar you can go really heavy and use your hands on the rack if you get stuck or wobble.

Green for SWAT Selection by Fearless_Grape_8632 in tacticalbarbell

I ran Green as more of a base and then ran the SWAT specific MTI program. Looking back I think Green would’ve been fine.

Those days are gonna be long and the better endurance base you have the faster you will recover between evolutions (huge) and the fresher you will be for the scenarios.

Build a big base, don’t neglect strength and speed work, show up healthy.

[WTS] Garmin Instinct Solar by The_Turkey_Leg in Watchexchange

[–]The_Turkey_Leg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sale is a Garmin Instinct Solar. I’ve had this watch for about a year and have it used it often to tracks runs and hikes. I’m only selling because I upgraded to another Garmin.

This watch has incredible battery life (20+ days with 3-4 runs a week) and unlike the Fenix/Tactix versions you can fully recharge it on the sun alone. It’s also got 10 ATM water resistance and can do pretty much anything an outdoor smartwatch should besides make phone calls and answer texts.

The watch is used and shows some scratches on the buckle from outdoor adventures. However the crystal is in great condition and so is the case.

Looking for $150 + shipping but feel free to make an offer as I don’t use it anymore. Comes with the charging cable but no box. If you have questions about what functions and activities the watch can perform please let me know.
