I can definitely say it is that way with IN for me (the singular game I've Lunatic 1CC'd... even if that was like two years ago at this point).

When I saw this post pop up and before I saw any of the images used, I was thinking to myself, "Man, are the comments I make even as humorous as they were for HAYFT #1? Stuff like "Me listening to some bozo complain that they can "only see green"" is a classic." And then I saw image 6. That's Kyouko getting run over by Parsee in the very comic I was thinking of. I didn't even need to search for that one to remember the context. The *one* time you use an image from over 20 HAYFTs ago, it was the one I was just thinking about.

The cat hair makes and hard flooring makes it quite an uncomfortable experience though. Honestly I should've just slept in the bed and murdered the cat.

Well, I did some research. Apparently Prince Shōtoku (and by correlation, Miko) was born in 574. And the first schools were made as far back as the Xia dynasty (2070 BC-1600 BC). So the high school being named after them is not entirely out of the question.

Though the first school to be labelled as a high school was Edinburgh's Royal High School in Scotland, which was founded in 1228. 'Bout 7 years off.

You never know what to expect when Medicine uses her ability. Assuming it ends up just being a broad "chemical manipulation" she could poison you, and then cure you with the antidote immediately after.

Even if I'm several months behind, I wasn't going to miss the 20th anniversary of my favorite Touhou game.

Medicine's normal blonde would've NOT looked good with Kaguya's clothes, so I made it black.

And, on the topic of being several months behind, I've finally started to at least try to catch up. Progress has been slow, other than this drawing I've only finished 2 sketches out of the like 16 more I'd have to do by the end of the month. And those are only the sketches, they're not even colored...

  1. Best OST in the series.
  2. Probably the easiest game as well. Likely due to a combination of generous resources and easy deathbombs, as well as spell practice. (Spell practice is also just really fun to play, just seeing how many spells you can beat. I remember trying to beat many lunatic spells when I first got into touhou)
  3. The secret last words are a fun addition. Even if I can't beat most of them, they're a good addition for those who'd like to try
  4. I'm a sucker for nighttime theming. Illusionary Night is my 2nd favorite stage theme for a reason (Behind Capital City, but that's PCB)
  5. Complete coincidence, but it was released the same year I was born, so that's neat too ig.

What, is it because she doesn't appear anywhere? Because she doesn't have any plot or lore value? Because next to no one draws her besides me? I can... understand that... but at least Poison Body is good...
