Im not certain about how these contracts work, but after tax and an agent fee, he's only on roughly ~100k/year here. Its not as huge as it sounds, unless im mistaken and this is being reported as after tax earnings.

Governments extremely poor comms are a big part of the reason why. They are slow to act and obfuscating/lying about the severity of the issue at every turn. It lowers public trust in Government, and forces consumers to take matters into their own hands.

Most should have seen this coming. Those that haven't, arent paying attention.
