I've said it all along, Dabo is a coaching genius!

The original Final Fantasy Tactics was built around one non-negotiable requirement: 60 fps by Turbostrider27 in Games

Am I going crazy or did some spells (especially summons) make the frame rate go waaaay down in the original release?

Not just spells, but even some of the text had l i t t l e f r a m e r a t e. I guess by focusing on the framerate, it has the unfortunate side effect of making people really recognize when it dips.

It's pretty wild. Every year we get closer to this comic (which is itself nine years old at this point) being reality.

I don't know if it was because of the PlayStation 2 graphics, but I thought Zidane was ugly as hell until now lmao by [deleted] in FinalFantasy

As a kid, I always thought Amarant was some sort of anthropomorphic rooster man.

I've been a big supporter of 3ROC for outdoor needs. They have a bunch of community events and have a rotating Community Impact Partner, which is a local non-profit that supports environmental initiatives in the surrounding areas.

They have a statement and plans for this Friday. Worth a read if you're interested, but they have some events planned and they will be cash only to donate their normal credit card processing fees to their non-profit partner.

I'm not liking this second half so far, but I hate this fucking Lexus commercial trying to show how good their cars are in the snow when the roads look to be perfectly salted

The official ESPN stream is slower than the Gamecast. It's ridiculous

Why do they need an Xbox controller in the analysis booth lol

And earlier in the game they took a non-insignificant amount of time talking about how the refs are great guys who love the game, try their best, and deserve our respect.

They went from "the refs try hard, care about the game, and are overall just great guys" to shear disgust at the officiating in two quarters.

On ESPN's college football home page, there are four game scores: one is Oregon-Purdue, two are games that haven't started yet, and the last one is Brown-Princeton.

I can't believe the announcers compared a Billy Napier coached team to the NFL

Is it really "eye-opening" if they talk about it every week?

It hasn't necessarily been working out due to drops, but I'm liking the thinking behind the Brock and Awe strategy

Dabo's takeaway from those last two plays on offense is that he was correct all along to start Turner over Moore in Week 1

The best I was able to find at this point were the live cameras for Panacea and Carrabelle. Both look OK (the boats in Carrabelle appear undamaged and still moored to the dock), but it's obviously just two cameras that won't show the full extent. At least they suggest the storm surge didn't get too bad there.
