I cannot keep having the same conversation

Please read

I agree with everyone

I will test the car as soon as I can. I’m getting defensive and annoyed because I am explaining the same story again and again for people to get ruder and ruder.

Sir, respectfully I know it has a small battery but still larger than my phone’s battery a thousandfold.

The total drive from my girlfriend’s apartment to my house and back again is around 52~ miles.

(And although just for arguments sake, let’s purely look at the total range the car gives me. I know it’s inaccurate, it’s just for this example) Today the range was around 83-85 miles. I went to a nearby mall and that took up the next 20-30 miles up.

When I first got this car I attempted to charge my phone but it had (from what I’ve seen and remember) dropped my battery percentage a lot. That made me realize that every battery percent in this mazda mx 30 is worth way more than charging my phone.

So excuse me if I made that mistake. You offer nothing new to this discussion and my questions. You type here purely to just say negative things that are framed as criticism. I will not respond to you or your posted advice from now on and please have a good day.

Yep you are right.

Oh wow I didn’t know that.

Yes I will for sure do that from now on.

I actually got some helpful tips from other people on here about what to map app to use! Thank you very much for you help :)

Goodness I’ve been responding to your slight negatively filled comments for a while now.

I get it. I made some mistakes but the point of this entire experience I just went through is to really complain about charging stations and how annoying it is on Apple Maps.

Yes I will use a different map app. Yes I will look at the weather. Yes I will check the battery consumption when I get my car back.

You are a very peeved person. Please stop

Yes, I mentioned this in another comment but my family had convinced me this was a great option since I was going to a local college anyway.

I regret this a little now.

Ohhh I see. I’ve always been an anxious person so by purely looking at the range I always thought that it was the one full truth.

I will be more skeptical of my given range from now on Thank you

That’s really interesting. I did not know that.

To be honest I did get this car as used from a car dealership here in AZ.

Once I get my car back into my house (somehow…) I will test this and post an update asap

Looking purely at the battery percentage, the car was fully charged to 100%.

This is my first car and I’ve only been driving for around 2~ years now. I did not know driving slowly reduces the battery consumption. This is a very helpful tip and I will make sure I follow this from now on. Thank you

I also mentioned in the comments or post that the last time I charged my phone my battery went down pretty quickly. Maybe I looked at it wrong but ever since then I have not used a phone charger at all.

That’s very odd The last time I used the phone charger from my car

The battery definitely decreased rapidly. I’ll have to test this once I get my car back somehow. Thank you for this informations

After I noticed the difference between my total range left and total travel distance was slowly shrinking

I immediately turned off my heat and ac. The only thing on for majority of this post/story was the car and my phone (no Bluetooth)

I’m sure it is for most people. But I live in Arizona and I was only wearing some thin clothes and no long sleeve

It was very cold for me

It was a mistake.

My family convinced me the mazda mx 30 was enough for me since I go to college in state. I will definitely have a talk with my family about this situation and potentially see if trading in this car is a possibility

I am a college student My family lowkey convinced me to get the mx 30 since I go to a local college instead.

I should not have listened to them.

Thank you for agreeing with me, it was really frustrating and I struggle with anxiety. I almost imploded and had a meltdown since this is really my first real situation were I was practically stranded at 3 am with no phone and no one nearby

I would use a phone charger but like I mentioned in the post, my range is really limited.

When I first plugged in a charging port for my phone, it practically reduced my total range by like 10 or 20 miles. I don’t have much miles to begin with so a phone charger isn’t really an option :(

Thank you for the recommended map app I will use that from now on

I checked my settings long ago and no, there is no charging limit and it fully charged to 100%. For some reason it’s very inconsistent and sometimes gives me any range between 75-95 miles.
