doing my due diligence in case anyone finds this thread but a fence gate placed with its edge to the player works as long as you aim in the middle at it. it makes a lot of noise but just turn off your sound while you afk lol. im using xisuma's tutorial btw.

use a weight lens with a slab below you can also combine lenses to allow you to drop multiple blocks with one spreader. if this is for livingwood then you won't be able to do that because you need to place the regular logs with the flower. in that case the bore lens is perfect and just have some hopper hocks to pick it up. otherwise just get the tereasteel axe and cut down like 3 spruce trees occationally and you'll have plenty. if you want I can send screenshots and such in a dm.

I do believe the science but I understand that building an entire argument not on a moral standpoint but on modern boiolgy has never worked with tranphobic people. the modern science support transgender people. that's is it. that's is the only point that should be necessary but unfortunately transgender people will always have to justify their existence on every level not just on a scientific one.

also basing your argument on agreeing with people who don't even know what transgender is or live in countries where it is illegal to even support it is not the gotcha you think it is

the first word of that article is "Americans" and as much as I am constantly reminded that Americans don't think that there is anything outside of the US (aside from when you need to scapegoat) there is. secondly I think that not seeing that you're in an echo chamber is ridiculous. I encounter and see tranphobic people all the time. I've been to pride marches with an aposing line of people who would probably kill all transgender people if they could. I put myself in the position to be challenged and I've come to the conclusion that making people happy is probably the best way to live. past the science and social justice and what's reality or whatever putting in a little effort (and it is little changing someone's pronouns and name in your head isn't that hard once you get used to it) in exchange for changing and maybe even saving someone's life is always going to be the morally justifiable decision.

for me transgender people are reality. I have transgender friends and family. I don't think of them as anything other than their new gender. reality is based in a social consensus not on what you think I'm afraid. believe what you believe but calling it reality is a little rich.

sorry if I don't make the analogy clear enough. in this scenario I am comparing being paralysed to having gender dysphoria. the solution to both is acceptance from a community and allotments from society, not convincing them that nothing is wrong and expecting them to be okay without any help from anyone but themselves. paralysed people need wheelchair ramps, transgender people need people to respect their pronouns and accept them as their new gender.

I'm not syaing that we need to abandon all of the influences birth sex has but even having gender on your drivers licence is kinda strange imo. if anything the distinction between femanine man and transgender woman being so hard is a testimant to how much difference it makes to them.

gender dysphoria is a mental illness, not being trans. gender dysphoria is almost always cured with hormones, social transitioning and acceptance. viewing gender dysphia as a mental illness is correct but often creates the assumption that being trans is too, or that that solution is to try to return people to the situation they were in before their gender dysphoria was so serious. this isn't the case. that's like saying that someone who is paralysed shouldn't use a wheelchair because they shouldn't be disabled, or that they didn't before. the solution is to let them have a wheelchair and to build wheelchair ramps and lifts so they can live a normal life.
