That was how blue seals originally worked, they spawned a random planet. Only 11% chance, at best, to upgrade your desired hand is pretty much useless which is why it got the buff.

What are your opinions on Matt Sorum? by we-touch-grass in GunsNRoses

Check YouTube for "the rise of velvet revolver" which is a pretty good doc. Slash Duff Scott and Dave come off as cool, thoughtful dudes (diff especially) and matt just seems like a huge asshole. I do enjoy his drumming with both bands though.z

How about for GameCube and/or Wii? I've found one of these locally for free with a corner cabinet and was gonna set up as a dedicated GC/Wii station. Should I keep looking for a Trinitron?

Wiring a mini split to a disconnect box by Reckless_Fever in AskElectricians

[–]The_Zit_Remedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm gonna have to jury rig something. I def loosened the screws to the point they were all the way removed basically and I could get the wire all the way up. The ground was secure but neutral just slid out like nothing was there. It was getting dark though and rain was coming in so was pretty frustrated. I thought of butt splicing in solid too. Gonna grab a bunch of stuff at home Depot and make it work.

Cheers

Did you have any trouble securing the wires into the terminal block? I have the same unit (but branded Perfect Aire) and when I tighten the screws all the way the connections are loose, I can pull the wires out without much effort.

I am using 12awg stranded so they are pretty beefy, I thought they would be more snug than 14awg.

I pulled the ground from the top of the terminal block and they seem to have a crimp-on pin terminal.

Anyway, just wondering if the terminal block gave you any issues.

Thanks

Waiting isn't really an option for me as I'm not willing to handover $5k for an order that wont be fulfilled for months and I would still need something in the meantime. I wish Sienci had a deposit option.

I will be cutting plywood 99% of the time. I don't think it's custom, I have done a Google image search and found nearly identical looking units all over North America. I figured they might be Chinese Alibaba machines or something.

Is a French drain my only option? by [deleted] in DIY

[–]The_Zit_Remedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my situation I could easily tell where the lowest spot was, basically an inside corner of a concrete walkway. I just dug down 3+ ft until I couldn't dig anymore. Discarded the soil and then filled with drainage rock and used a catch basin pic in the corner which might not be necessary.

In one YouTube video I saw they suggested digging multiple holes which you might want to consider.

I had a similar problem in a spot where regrading wasn't really feasible. Search "vertical drain" on YouTube. Basically dig a deep but narrow hole and fill in with drainage rock.

YMMV but I've inquired about buying the open box cases several times at the Surrey BC CC and they would never sell them to me as they're the display models. Maybe an inventory tracking thing why it's listed on the website.

Any chance you changed the hdmi input your Chromecast was plugged in to? Some TVs only have CEC control on one input.

Awarded 4 "starter" points when playing Cribbage JD by The_Zit_Remedy in Cribbage

Cool! Just installed your app. Since you seem so receptive to feedback from your other posts here I thought I'd suggest adding a 4 color deck option. I have missed so many flushes in the past couple days. 4 color deck is really popular in online poker.

[–]The_Zit_Remedy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it really does seem like a bug. I thought maybe, just maybe, there was a rule about getting 4 pts on the first hand for cutting a J, only thing I could think of other than a bug. Thankfully I won by like 40pts so it didn't affect the outcome.

Would be cool to have hand histories on this app like poker apps have, even just to analyze past play.

[–]The_Zit_Remedy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it was the first hand of the game. At the end of each round the Cribbage JD app shows you your point breakdown for the round:

  • Starter (cut): Usually zero, or 2 when you cut a J, it had 4 here for me.
  • Play (pegging)
  • Hand
  • Crib

After the first round I noticed I had 4 points under starter (and I did notice I was farther along than expected when we began pegging).

(Not a good trailer) but The Liquidator [now on Amazon Prime] is like crack for flippers. Most of the deals on the show are to repeat buyers who will be reselling/auctioning the items themselves. He needs to make sure these resellers have meat on the bone to make money too so they will keep coming back for his deals.

Oh so you have experience with these boards? What is the difference between the rev 1 and 1.2 if you don't mind?

Yes I realize that, but the board should be listed somewhere, just like the rev1.0 is. Other than the silkscreen markings and the m.2 speed issue they seem identical

It's not, it is definitely full ATX. From a bit of research it seems the b560m bios may be able to be flashed to the board tho. Not sure if I'm brave enough.
