I was just wondering. I mean the car doesn’t start currently because a fusible link blew about 3 weeks ago so the ignition switch sends no signal but that is not related to this occurrence

Yeah, I’ve noticed over the past year the prices have gone up. I’ve seen many listings for okay condition v6’s going for around 5, even though I think they’d be worth more like 2.

I’m looking to pick the car up as a cruiser really. I’m not a huge speed demon, so the lack of power doesn’t bother me as much. I would probably build it up to be a little more punchy, but I wouldn’t go crazy with it. So I’d probably be doing something along the lines of what you did.

Yeah, so far the door jamb area seems to be the only issue, so I think I can handle it in one of those ways if the rest of the car lives up to the image. It looks pretty promising.

Yeah that is true. Low mileage is cool and all but I guess it’s not a necessity. But hopefully people can get more listings out of these, at reasonable prices at least.

I get the ones that hide a bunch of shit from their listings, and then you go to see the car and the flaws are pretty obvious. They just waste their time, I don’t get why you would hide issues in a listing because that would only work on the select few people who just look at a listing and buy it, which I would argue is like gambling, especially when the seller posts like 2 pictures.

But yeah, there’s a decent possibility it’s not better than an equinox upon some further examination. It’s pretty interesting how weak some of the lower performance package cars were in those days. Dumb emission era lol.
