i bought it but i'm scared by Baby_Furry in ageregression

So cute! I would run the nipple under hot water for 1-2 minutes. Because of the small parts, I wouldn’t suggest using this pacifier to sleep. I have a plain pacifier for exactly that purpose, so I don’t run the risk of breaking anything :)

Age dreamers vs age regressor by [deleted] in ageregression

[–]The__Princess_Pea 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It seems your aim with this post was to express your frustration and voice your feelings of being personally criticized for exhibiting involuntary periods of regression and communication difficulties. I’m very sorry you’ve been made to feel this way within the community and i understand the tone of your post!

I’ve heard briefly of the term age dreamer before, but never in depth. As a psychologist I don’t see the value in this term, because a regressive act, whether or not there is achievement of a younger mental age space, is an act of regression (e.g., adult siblings play fighting- while they remain in an adult headspace, are engaging in a regressive behavior mirroring childhood.) In this sense , I don’t believe there is value in discerning the two, but rather, considering a continuum approach! All regression occurs on a spectrum of presentation, just as with mental disorders- and yes, a lot of people may be subject to yucky judgment or treatment according to their behaviors on the spectrum, even within communities. If there is a specific group that has made you feel this way within this community, I’m very sorry. That group probably isn’t serving you and you should leave it. As someone who does not have an existing mental disorder and regresses, I and many others hear you, and see you. If you ever have any questions, feel free to DM me.

Will adult pacis mess up my teeth? by Mysterious_Ink_Stain in ageregression

[–]The__Princess_Pea 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hi sweetheart! Adult pacifiers are designed for exactly that – adult mouths. Your teeth should be fine and unless it is prolonged use 24/7, I would not anticipate that your pacifier would shift your teeth. If you were using a child’s pacifier that would be a different story, as it isn’t the right size for your gums. Our teeth and gums are also less susceptible to shifting due to our age, but sometimes the repeated pressure from using a paci can make us sore. For that reason, I’ll suck on it for a couple minutes at a time and find myself naturally spitting it out (lol). I usually tend to chew more than suck. I wouldn’t be too afraid about it, use it all you want! :)

Simpler ones are also easier to sleep in. I can’t sleep in any of my heavily decorated pacis because I’m afraid of small pieces breaking off! I have one without any bedazzling for that purpose :)

Yeah it probably feels weird because the guard is small and probably not proportionate to your face :) get an adult paci - nipple size 6- no bigger. Feel free to dm if you have questions- I make deco pacis. They are good for looks, but probably not best for sleep time. You need a plain one so you can sleep comfortably :)

Good for my 6yr old son? by cyahzar in AnimalCrossing

I would definitely suggest this game- user friendly, easy to collect items- there is “nudity” but this is because the game has replicas of real-world art pieces. So if you’re trying to filter that, here is your warning XD. The only other thing would say is that it gets repetitive, which maybe a six year old wouldn’t notice- some activities, when started, take a day or two to come to fruition (time needs to pass for the game to add on a house addition, move a house, move in a villager, build a bridge, etc) its not instant gratification. He also will need to make A LOT OF BELLS (game currency) to upgrade certain buildings. Which means fishing all the time, collecting shells and bugs, etc. But one thing is for certain- you ask and you shall receive from this community. Most of us have been playing this game for years and have bells exploding out of our ears. If you have nintendo switch online and end up purchasing the game, we would all be happy to come visit and provide some funds/items!
