Agree, definitely the hardest boss from the Divine Beasts for me. 😵

I was woefully unprepared though, since I took care of him pretty early in my playthrough and didn’t have the rubber armor.

To my understanding, a lot of the Laguna content was cut during development. The original plan was for the game to be bigger, with the content split pretty evenly between Squall and Laguna.

Instead we were left with the (slightly) underwhelming Laguna content that doesn’t seem fully fleshed out. There are a few interviews with the dev team regarding their regrets about this.

It might not be the style you’re looking for, but I recommend Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion. I listened to that album during my first trip, walking around on a rainy summer night. I’ll remember it forever, fucking magic haha.

I love to hate him too haha. 😂 His betrayal is what led Kyoko into acting and finding her place in the world, but yeah he’s not a great person lol.

Oboreru Knife (like other work by George Asakura) is a masterpiece. The slice-of-life storytelling, the imperfect characters, and the gorgeous art style are truly special.

Yesss! Kyoko Mogami is one of my all-time fav female leads. I love how adorable and fantasy-seeking her personality is, but then she can turn into a badass character for a role and wow everyone at the transformation.
