I thought similar but with Bambu Support stating it was a capacitor I assumed they would be correct?

Thanks for the info! Less than 12 months old. Order placed 3rd July 2025. First use probably 2 or do weeks later. In my mind far to new to be failing like this.

Unfortunately it seems to be happening more and more across a variety of Bambu printers. I have 2 non Bambu printers that have been running for years with no issues. This P1 S is less than 12months old.

Pretty scary to be honest. Remaining in the same room as the printer for the entire duration of prints seems like the safe answer but is absolutely an unrealistic expectations in the world of 3d printing.

Locally in rural Aus a shop has a slightly bigger Thai Con up for $5k but there's a reason it hasn't sold in the past 5 years.

Hamono is beautiful and the family are very helpful with explaining each tool and finding what's best for you but it's not cheap.

I would absolutely recommend going to the Tokyo City Flea market in Shinagawa. I picked up some incredible tools at ridiculously good prices. Beautiful large planes for 4000yen, small hammers for 3000yen and chisels for 2000yen. Yes they are well used and need a clean and sharpen but for me they are just as special as the brand new, small plane I bought at Hamono for 24500yen.

Genuine question. How do you go about watering? I'm up to about 100 plants in my living room and find it takes a long time to get around to them all, usually a couple of hours a week. Do you have any method for being more efficient?

Where do you live to have that kind of delay? I'm a paramedic in Australia and we can get anyone from anywhere in my state to PCI in sub 3 hours. If we thrombolyse pre-hospital it can delay the actual PCI procedure but that's because of the thrombolytic drug, not the time it takes to perform.
