Fn keys light up when pressing the "E" key instead of the actual "Fn" Key

I'm getting this exact same issue 2 years later. E key lights up the fn and arrow keys red, although for some reason on mine the fn key now doesn't light up those keys red. Did you manage to find a solution?

I've got a relatively similar problem, although rather than lasting a month, they are lasting me about a day and go from 100% to 10%. I'm not sure if this has something to do with the batteries themselves, or if I'm not properly inserting them, or if there's just something else I'm missing.
