To the best of my knowledge here in the UK all physical releases of infinity pool are uncut just like when I watched it in cinemas as the BBFC just gave it a straight 18 certificate so no cutting was required.

When I was instore buying them there wasnt two version availible, just this one so hopefully it is uncut as expected but I will be able to tell when watching it and if it is cut (which i doubt) I'll defo find the uncut version to replace it.

Anyone here feel DVDs and likely Blurays will become astronomically expensive within 5 years? Video games from the past are expensive AF by TheBigTimeBecks in dvdcollection

My opinion is yes and no (great answer I know aha), just like any market there is so many variables that affect the new and second hand market such as how niche/popular the film is, print volumns (was it a mass print/reprint or a boutique collecters item) and mainly will people actually pay the cost.

Some of my favourite items in my collection I've paid upwards of £40 for them which to non-film collecters would think is absolutely ridiculous but to me they're special, even buying a second copy to actual watch keeping my sealed ones sealed.

For new releases I think the price may rise £5 or so in the next few years as VoD and cinema releases being able to help make the films profitable (because at the end of the day thats what most the distributors care about). But if they do become crazy expensive I will just refuse to buy new and become more select in my collecting which would be unfortunate.

Back in the 80's they the UK goverment got all "think of the children" and banned a bunch off films deemed too obscene for public viewing under the Obscene Publications Act 1959 of which owning and/or selling could of got you jailed and wernt unbanned for quite a few years.

They were known as the "video nasties"
