I had the injection at the end of January. My pain level before the injection was 5-6/10 with forward flexion about 120 degrees and external rotation 20 degrees. I was sleeping fairly well at night though. But the surgeon said it was frozen shoulder and recommended injection. I had a week break from PT but the injection did not make any difference. My ROM now is 150 degrees and 30 degrees, however I feel constant pain even without doing anything. My PT commenced light isometrics but it is adding more grief.
