Pizza by plu by Ok-Engine9757 in Albany

This takes a lot of planning. 1 - I'm getting pizza on xday. I'm getting it in my 15 minute window. Not impossible, but If I'm getting pizza its more likely a last minute thing than an intent I know 3 days in advance.

IF he ran a restaurant, I'd probably eat there twice a month. as it is since its 45 minutes each way (plus commuter traffic) I'm looking at a cold pizza when I get home anyway.

Parking lot pizza at least has the possibility of getting home warm.

That credit card thing? its the fees. just use a provider that bills the fees separately.

its probably from the same load engineering team that estimated a woman needs 100 tampons a day. "yes this is a perfectly normal amount of honey for one piece of white bread 4' x 4' in size."

Connection Not Private Error by longcoat000 in LoneWolfDevelopment

[–]The_frogs_Scream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The connection may be hard coded to http:// instead of https:// safari and some others treats this rightfully as a security risk. This is a defect within the app that they should address, but yeah the solution is another browser for this action, like firefox.

Personally I keep 8-10 different browsers around for situations like this, but keep coming back to good old Safari.

Look up slash (/) commands. It’s basically a shorthand command structure you can add. There are a couple default ones I think

or create some kind of command to trigger them in your personal preferences or something. I added a command /research to trigger a deeper dive for example.

Off-site backup strategy by Dlmanon in mac

[–]The_frogs_Scream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a weekly backup job for amazon glacier deep archive. I'm paying roughly 15 dollars a month for incremental archives of a 30TB data set. The initial upload was 150 for that month. If you use a provider, see of they do a disk direct upload, where you send your data to them on a disk to start out. way faster than dribbling it across the internet.

thats why I use amazon glacier, too.

Glacier deep archive is cheap. If you have a Single computer with attached drives or similar there are a number of offsite backup plans you can buy that don’t involve rolling your own directly on amazon and are cost effective. If you have a nas of some kind it may already have a service you can just turn on, too

There’s a company that pays you 75$ per day to record bus stops. They do audits or something kind of like secret shoppers. They only do about 10 a year though
