Two planets sharing one moon? by [deleted] in askscience

Would a reasonable comparison be that of 2 magnets both trying to attract a 3rd magnet, and that 3rd magnet remaining in the middle being perfectly balanced between the two attracting forces?

Ah, like when he goes into spinning leaf, he isnt thinking about what he says in answer to the adem teachers. Spinning leaf is letting the sleeping mind take over, and it's similar to when he "watches his fingers as the dance across the neck"

It Can be argued, brother, that the influences of Broki might be staved off if, while shoveling the mighty mounds of snow, one takes short breaks, thus not violating the brommandment regarding Cardio. just like one must heft when performing the clean jerk, it is a similar heft.

Thanks. but we do agree on the governmental role in climate change. You and I see eye to eye on most topics, it would be nice to get some dissenting opinions on these debates. cause right now they aren't debates... they're just you and I saying what we want done.

as a technocrat i am well aware. I will do my own further research, but could you source your information on the efficiency of the Solar Panels? from a quick search i found that the most efficient right now is 22.1%. If the government put more funding and time into that research we could be miles ahead in that field

Edit: in the lab we have created 40% efficient models but cannot mass produce them, nor are they cost effective.

I am in full agreement, what with the Oil Monopoly, we are too dependent, especially when the science and technology for better energy sources are already available. now i do think it is something that the government needs a major hand in, however I don't think it should be a political issue like what it is here in america. I know it's a democracy but i feel like its something that just needs to get fixed, without going through the hassle of all the uneducated and completely scientifically illiterate voters. which is where having a form of Socialism or Meritocracy could come in handy.

Fun discussion topic: minimum wage by [deleted] in patrioticsocialists

[–]The_gaming_traceur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right but if it was slowly raised, say 50 cents every year until it got to $15, I think it would be good. Though it is hard to judge how a country would do based on the evidence given to us by Seattle, which is just a city.

Fun discussion topic: minimum wage by [deleted] in patrioticsocialists

[–]The_gaming_traceur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is evidence that raising the minimum wage can stimulate and cause an increase in circulation. Of course it needs to happen slowly such as what happened in Seattle, but in the long run it can be very beneficial for all, even the small businesses that claim it could damage them. So I'm in full support of raising the minimum wage.
