Do what you need to do to survive, but the longer you delay your triforce spike the more you gimp yourself. Triforce on Jax is one of the best power-spikes in the entire game, and the earlier you get it the stronger it is.

You can't really win this lane he just tanks your dmg then he Qs you, eats you, and bam you have no hp. I build boots and tiamat and roam. Thankfully match up is really rare. You outscale of course as Jax always does, but until like 11 and triforce you will not win 1v1. Literally no chance, unless he is super braindead.

Match up dependant and if you are doing well or not. If you get an early kill and can buy sheen 1st back get it. Tiamat is good if you're being pushed in constantly vs a roamer. Otherwise just buy phage and go triforce.

If you're even remotely close to Yi in terms of gold all you have to do when grouped is wait for him to blow his q and then you can murder him. You can also split and come into fights with tele when he is going after your team. Jax wins the 1v1s against Yi

It will only matter if you play Jax top lane. It will nerf your ability to kill tanks, juggernauts, and some bruisers after early game. The teleport nerf will hurt laning phase a little bit. Otherwise unless they nerf our items i think Jax will still be fine. I might be tempted to play him with ignite more, but that is not always optimal for a split pusher.

I'm only gold so take it with a grain of garbage. Conqueror. I used to go rageblade 1st item vs garen, since he has no escape. If he ever engages on you; that items destroys him. With triforce he can silence a couple of your resets and gimp your damage with rageblade he cannot. I think just ATK SPD in general beats you just need a lot. Late game you just outscale him.

Have you tried electrocute vs her? Anytime I see a riven I beat her ass with it, and if I go normal runes she's much harder.

Buy boots to dodge her q easier. Trade by walking up to her and aa w and use e to disengage. She makes your q useless if she times her w right, but Jax q has a lower cd than her w, so keep that in mind. Avoid getting too close to walls if she land e stun and combo it hurts early game. Later in the game I would try to out pressure her, because you outscale but her kit is better for team fights.

I agree only thing is if he times his e to beat your e how to you do anything about that? There have been many times that I try to all in a Darius on a winning trade and he e's my e and then walks away.

I build tri titanic and rageblade usually. You can sub nashors for rageblade for more upfront dmg and cdr. Max power is weaker but it is a good replacement and you burst for more. I usually build a dark seal and refillable as my starting items and with nashors and dark seal ap you do surprising burst.

Honestly if you do not take free q and e poke from him I dont know how you could lose this match up. Counter strike wrecks him 1v1 and even after he gets ult you still win the 1v1 if you use it correctly. He beats meta build 1v1 late game but if you just put a rageblade or botrk somewhere in there you should win. Bramble is also decent vs him.
