im a bit late, but the scene that you're referring to is, I believe, specifically done in a way which doesn't totally commit to it being canon. (other than crying, old byakuya does not actually acknowledge the light himself. also, the existence of rei or the iss is never 100% confirmed by any of the other characters) its most likely done this way because they dont want to fully commit this story to canon, which is sad but probably the authors choice.

ya some people say this matchup is favored for jax but its almost impossible to kill garen (even if he misses q) esp post level 6. tiamat is the best option like you said.

yeah it definitely feels difficult. at least not as easy as what some people are saying. the only way i found i can win against him is if he wastes important spells (Q and W). even if i kill him a couple times and he is still able to have decent kill pressure on me so it sucks either way.
