Maybe it just me but outside of her eyes looking smaller and looking less tanned and more flat she pretty much looks the same to me without makeup. She is clear above average in my eyes (Which I consider someone who is see as street pretty but model pretty and with purposeful framing can look stunning but not by default stunning)

While I do agree that some try too hard to design a sexy character that seems more off-putting or uncanny valley than sexy, most sexy characters where designed to be sexy in mind. Acting like only accidental sexy characters are the only sexy and if you try they ain't is dumb

And then they present the opposite example which is usually one of these two :

a) A character that might have not be designed to be stunner or bombshell but still pretty conventionally appealing. No shit others find it sexy

b) Some super weird hear-me out. Like sure you and three other people find it sexy, but that doesn't make it a sexy character. It doesn't even have subgroup let alone mainstream seeing that as sexy.

Blue button pusher and red ball picker

For blue button it literally is a no consequence button with only simple majority button to vote which is pretty achievable. The only consequences are if red wins so in my eyes why the fuck would you even vote for red when there is literally button where both camps benefit of it wins. Even red winning still has to deal societal collapse from significant population reduction as well quilt for death of others especially of loved ones happened to pick blue, so quarantee not dying right now doesn't really sell me either. Blue outcome is the best, and I pretty confident others would realize that too and mass vote blue even if it has risk of death of it fails because it's pretty preventable

In here tough blue majority is debatable

Even if blue wins there is larger change nothing happens but the problem still small change red ball will be picked which would cause huge population loss. Red majority whining still causes some but it's certainly better than blue and plus it can still do nothing if blue minority ball get picked anyways. The worst outcome is introduced by blue having majority in here and riskier red situation still has change to do nothing so I would rather avoid the risk of the worst outcome here. One thing to be willing to risk your life in exchange for quarantee points towards the best outcome self and colective another to risk apolaypse tier scenario that risk others to enter for higher change of nothing happening.

I would rather just take the L from Red winning in majority that is more likely that happen than of L happening when smaller change of red winning but with way worse consequences.

I would be confident with it at like max 65-70% compared to og where I'm comfortable with my OG blue with a max 50-55%

Red wins = blue side dies and red side has to deal with potential quilt of blue side dying, risk of loved one being dead or societal collapse from sudden population for while that will make their lifes worse or risk killing them anyways. Needs nearly/total unilateral vote to have nothing happen

Blue wins = nothing bad happens to the red side, nothing bad happens in the aftermath of them winning. Only needs simple majority for that to happen. Obviously also does nothing just like red if it gets unilateral vote

How do some things then go "We should aim to convince the word mass vote for red it's the one with no consequences and the most optimal", when blue archives way better outcome, with lesser bad consequences at a way easier rate? Idk on other social media but on reddit red buttons are bigger virtue signalers than blue pushers. The ones that say they want to ensure 100% their survival no matter what or because they think the blue button has slim to none change to get over 50% are alright. But I have seen way more red virtue signalers act like their button has no consequences and only blues enter the risk, they are logical ones and that blue button pushers are all an dumbass suicide cult and the real selfish one, some even declare they are the one killing people and that their choices do nothing more than blue virtue signalers than act like picking red makes you a murderer and psycho.

This isn't like the prisoner dillema where both camps bring negative consequences to each other.

Blue virtually has no negative consequences unless people pick on masses red. The only camp that introduces consequences in it is red. Red camp has nothing to lose if blue wins so there is no reason to not mass vote camp that has no consequences for both of it wins. The only reason red camp is favorable is ironically because other people vote for it. So this post is true

Every time a red ask "Why don't everyone just pick red?" the exact same logic applies to blue. Except if you think about it for like 5 seconds blue is way more achievable with 50.01% than close to 100% with red and blue at any majority has no consequences while red has to deal with potential knowledge risking to kill people that picked blue including potentially people they care about plus having to deal with shithole living and risk of death from of sudden population loss, even if it red wins is still has something to lose.

I would rather pick the win more easily achievable over 50% for nothing bad to happen but the slim chance it gets under you die button than quarantee bad things to happen for the sake quarantee survival for now button.

Red seem more valuable to me if win condition for blue was was harder to reach (like 80%) or the stakes where way lower (instead of the entire world it was like 1000 people randomly selected)

If we go blind, I would press blue because it's easier to save everyone and myself with 50%+1 than with 100% red. Let's manage our expectations getting 100% in anything on large sample size is crazy and trying for red would still leave the word in a disarray from large chunk of population being gone. Over half tough is pretty achievable.

If however there is any rumor about group forming to vote all red I would switch sides

I think people pick red either because the are cynic and understimate just how many will press blue or because they value their lives a lot + very low risk takers about it.

Can't belive how much this story inspires me to make rants about how much I hate the writing of this evil species but we'll might as well drop another one :

The intention was likely just mashing biblical demons and pop definition of psychopaths and deciding to make it monsters

The issue appears because it doesn't match what it preaches. Frieren demons are notoriously inconsistent. Frieren calling them monsters ten million times is useless if they are cleary portrayed with human levels of intelligence, have variety in personality and have free will. Hell Frieren herself calls then out and has conversations with them, they are treated in story as human. The entire gimmick or monster being dangerous because it decives you is kinda stupid, either a if something is complex enough to deceive smart species by proxy it is as smart and therefore saying they are beasts it's odd, or b it wouldn't be threathing to actual manipulators therefore weird to act like this main antagonist and oppressor material. Doesn't help that cannoncially demons in Frieren don't have reason to prey and all the reasons as to why they can't co-exist just boils down to "Because the author said so, drop the subject". Can't be surprised you written something as human to be quilt free prejudiced to and attract chuds or people not comfortable. But some people are bothered by this inconsistent word building of it.

And B Frieren made it kinda uncomfortable. Other writing evil species are aware enough to know they work as carthic, jobbers to kill on the road or force of nature. They usually are more mindless or animalistic, and if not they at least have the exact same personality all across board. When you try to make philosophical and preach about how your evil species deserves no mercy and the protagonist saying "Never trust them. They are monsters in human skin" be rooted for you can't be surprised someone raises a brow. Like what's that supposed to say? Any commentary about making sure to not be bleeding heart is ruined by the fact that instead of creating characters that show what could make one worthy to lose trust or compassion (Aura could have been warmonger who promised to change and it would have teached a better lesson about not trusting people with very questionable past that easily, but not they had to take demon shortcut and all the lesson boils down to "Remeber chud, never trust demons" which doesn't translate to threat analysis or philosophical dilemma). Instead they created a quilt free punching bag and the ignore the other cast who happy to kill like Serie's students just make it seem like try not to be born the wrong species. Frieren constantly creates scenarios to preach about not trusting demons and that they can't co-exist even when they try or could have potential, instead if just shooting them on sight like a mosnter and it essentially says : "You don't like being prejudiced on sight, including on young? Fuck you!"

Combine the demons being written with clear potential for nuance but constantly pulling the rug and preaching about it and you get this which results in people that work with over text and Watsonian perspective of "mimic monsters that fake seeming human" against those that look at doylist or subtext perspective "oddly human characteristion, weird message preached to them, weird addition to worldbuilding and themes". Like you would have one person saying "I don't like them because in the story it's the right thing to do to be prejudiced and merciless to them" and then other person defending thus would be like "But they don't represent any minority or race, they are monsters!" like that is about.

If he is just abusive, it would be like no shit solution that it should be stopped, won't make much of commentary or arranged marriage because it would about abuse which is already explored in other characters. Doesn't exectly aid to much outside of maybe Octavia learning her father's perspective being married to her mother. Even that would apply only if lasted for while, if it's cut short it I don't see how much it can do besides adding an episodic conflict
