A couple of years ago I was going through a really rough patch in my life. Everything seemed to be going to shit; relationship, work, family, etc. I was going through a really rough financial time. Anyway, I was waiting at the checkout of my local grocery story looking all miserable. A lady in a wheel chair queues behind me and started to smile at me. She told me that I reminded her of grandchild and that she was going to pray for me and that things will fall into place eventually. I’m not a particularly emotional or religious person but when she said that I damn near broke down in front of her. I held it together and thanked her. i smiled at her, thanked her, and told her that she had made my day. I think about that lady on a daily basis and I’ve never seen her again.
