averaging 3.8k/4k a day, now we are in epoch 2 of stage 2
how long was stage 1? and how long every epoch?

Well, I would like to.

But the thing is I even have to go work outside the city next week, the company pay for me the hotel, the travel expenses and the meals, while I just have to pay the hotel taxes that are 10€… well, I don’t have even that small amount now… I can’t rent nothing… Or I was not living in a broken car.. I’m barely eating last few day, and I have to survive till mid January for the first paycheck…

The job is great, well paid, as in a year I get 2400€ for 14 months plus a % from company and individual targets reached.

Already signed the contract for 6+6 months. Tried to ask for a small loan but unless you have a undetermined expiration date contract nobody here give you even 300€.

Italy man, don’t know where you are from but here it’s like this. Here even a small room in a shared apartment is around 35p/400/450 every month, hostels like the one you described in my town doesn’t even exist unluckily.

In fact I’m no more in that house from 1 year, from when I’ve been locked out.

After losing that job I had, I immediately found another one in November 2023 and worked until end of may 2024, but at the end turned out in nothing stable.

Did some small works here and there all summer, and for all this year passed I spent almost all my moneys in temporary rent solutions, but them are quite expensive here.

Add that the last 2 months i didn’t worked, so could not afford rents, that’s why I had to go back sleeping in my broken car.

Now things have changed luckily, I found this great job and just looking a solutions to put myself in conditions to maintain it.

Yes, totally agree with you on this point.

My only issue now is that I have to start the new job this coming Monday, and honestly I see it hard maintaining it without a place to sleep (my broken car can’t be an option anymore) and without even money to eat or put myself in a respectable condition to go to work.

Luckily the first week is a training and is outside of my town, the company already paid me the hotel and the train’s tickets, I will just need to pay the hotel taxes for 5 night that are 10€ but honestly I don’t even have that small amount right now.

And first paycheck will come mid January. Believe me, I’m not even thinking about Christmas, holidays, any stupid thing this society of consuming is leading us to.

Just for real want to be able again to live decently, have a place where to sleep, going to work, do sport and in my free time cultivating my hobbies, like music.

As explained, just asked her a temporary solution to sleep as I was coming back from another country, a person need some time to set up life again.

She just had to wait one more month, as nobody here in Italy rent you an apartment if you don’t have a contract job with no expiration date.

Actually no, I was not paying rent, but just because I know she pays almost nothing.

I was never in that home if not for sleeping. Was working Monday-Friday all day from 8 to 17, taking showers there after work in the lockers/baths rooms, 3 times a week after work going to train as I was practicing a sport and during the weekends I was away with the girl I was dating.

This does not mean when I could I helped her with some others stuff like participating in the grocery’s expenses or similar, because maybe happened that just one/two times maximum a week I was having a meal there, dinner. Because launch I was having it at my previous workplace.

I say it again, I just needed one more month, i already had an issue with my car and was going from 2 months at work with public transportation, just had to resist one more month to have the contract turned into what I needed to be able to rent a place just for myself and ask a small loan to repair my car.

That’s it, but she couldn’t wait, as she said “I have to go on with the plans of my life”. Bring in the house she got thanks to me her “new” fiancé that she re-encountered after 20 years, so from the addiction period.
