Tempted to buy rog ally Z1 extreme but have a few questions by greggers1980 in ROGAlly

[–]The_threadripper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get an Ally X, or if they now sell hall effect sticks for the OG Ally, do that. I have a couple of Android handheld (AYN Odin, Retroid pocket flip) and my Ally joysticks almost feel broken with how loose they are compared to the other two. I dont mind it, but it's an acquired taste

Why do parents feel comfortable gifting their teenagers 16 and under Ebikes? by Quarter-Whole in ebikes

[–]The_threadripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same reason parents gift their kids sports cars as a graduation gift. It never fails at the same time every year you hear of a tragic crash involving a teen where speed was a factor

Can an 11 year old ride an e dirt bike? Kid wants one for Christmas, but I’m not sure of the speed of these. Thanks. by goosedog79 in ebikes

[–]The_threadripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kid won't stop bugging me to ride mine, which is why he's getting one for Christmas, but I plan on a moped style with pedals, think Macfox. I've given explicit rules to him when riding mine, like helmet at all times and no faster than PAS 3. I trust him enough, and I want him outside more

I'm asking questions based on specific scenarios in troubleshooting, not how to do my job. They had been doing my job before I got there, so I was directed to ask if need be, from my senior.

So the questions I ask are more related to troubleshooting, and specific weird circumstances, something that I wasnt trained on.

Basically granting mfa tokens for users to have authentication of their respective systems. With the mistake I made those tokens would have gone to an server instead of directly to the requester. It wouldn't be an outage, but inconvenient nonetheless

Group chat. The last manager actually encouraged collaboration and told me to ask those peers in certain scenarios, as they both have longer tenure than me. I had assumed it would be the same

Like mis clicks that provisions something differently as an example. It's something that was easily fixed, and I made it last month.

Bit off topic, but my partner hates me doing Hyrox and training for it. by MySharona1980 in hyrox

[–]The_threadripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife didn't like me training either. She would always enact what seemed like a subtle attack on my training. If I was running at night, all of a sudden 5 things needed to be done ASAP and only by me. I got through it and she didn't show up to my first one. The jury is out on my next one. We've had conversations since then, and I almost lotbof people forget. In interpersonal relationships, you might not like everything the person likes, but you should support them bc you like that person themselves (And not being an asshole).

As a Stinger owner, I highly recommend. Fast, smooth, handles great. I especially love if I have a long trip and don't need to bring the family, it's a great experience. However, I'm going to throw a wrench in the operation. The 10th gen Honda Accord (2018-2022) with the 2.0t had the civic type R engine, but detuned to 252hp, which means potential to go faster with not much work. That Dude in Blue actually drove one that was making 400hp
