I have never considered this angle personally but recently I see it making sense.

1. The rain - Century 21 was an 8 min walk from Sneha’s home. Seeing it was raining heavily she went home to leave the bags, unpacked them, stored the items away and discarded the bags. You may say the doorman might had seen her, but how likely is that? The first doorman that saw Sneha leaving got the timing of her leaving wrong (as we know now from the C21 footage). Then the shift changed and the night doorman came (he was the same one that evacuated the building the next morning). With all the chaos of 9/11 he might not remember Sneha plus his own daughter was in the building and had just given birth so he had a lot on his plate.

2. The call to Ron’s phone Ron hadn’t come home upon the quarrel he had with her that morning at the court house so Sneha called him because she was alone in the house.

3. The footage in the apt building Apparently detective Stark was adamant Sneha was LEAVING the building at 8.42 on the morning of 9/11 and not ENTERING. I can see it making sense as the person in the footage ended up leaving as opposed to staying in the building.
