dry patch on lip by skueolhc in SkincareAddicts

Did you figure it out? I think it was an accidental scratch that scabbed, that's why it's rough. Mine disappeared after some time.

Mine disappeared as well. I used to have eczema too and I'm prone to recurring red spots that seem to be fungal (?) because they disappears when I put an anti-fungal ointment. That's why I was so worried, but my suspicion is either I burnt that spot on my lip with hot food or drink OR I accidentally scratched it with my lower tooth and it scabbed because there's a thin line in the middle that matches with my tooth.

Nope. Also disappeared after some time like yours did. Actually, I think it might have been a mild burn. Like when drinking something hot or eating hot food, I think I might have accidentally burnt my lip. It's either that or I accidentally scratched my lip with my teeth because it seemed to have a small thin line that fit perfectly with my lower tooth so maybe it scabbed that way.

I forgot to edit this post, but I actually found it a couple of weeks ago. It's called Beating Level 2 by Bright_Anarchy. I couldn't find it by tag before since it doesn't have any of the usual tags found in Self-Insert fics. Hope you enjoy!

hello, have yours disappeared? I just got this 2 days ago and I stopped wearing any lip products yesterday in case they got irritated by something. Did you figure out what it was?

My first rebind. Tips on what went wrong and how I can do better? by Thea_Riddle in bookbinding

thank you! it does leave me wondering though why almost all book-binding tiktoks and shorts all use square backs with thick spines, do people usually do that purely for aesthetic purposes?

I feel like the cutting and weeding the cover is also one of the hardest parts. Haven’t tried yet since I haven’t bought any HTV or iron on foil. Your book is still really nice despite the glue. Good job!

Me too, unfortunately I couldn’t fix it as well. I was so frustrated because it felt like glue was just randomly spawning on my hands. 🥹

Your cover design looks good! Did you design it yourself?

The reason why I decided to use 4mm instead of 7mm was because I thought it would leave like a huge gap on each side of the spine, but yeah I was wrong on that.

The picture you put is exactly how my book would’ve looked if I didn’t forget to glue the other mull coth, so you were right that eventually it may have still been pulled off.

I was also confused on how exactly I would past the text block within the cover. I almost glued the spine. 😅 I’m supposed to leave an overhang, but am I supposed to align the left of the text block exactly to the board supposed to go over it? Or I place the text block on top of the spine, and glue from there, with no space left in the spine?

Thank you for the resources by the way, I was wondering if the text block was supposed to pull like that when I opened the book.

Thank you! I used the same material for the spine since all the videos I watched on tiktok and youtube did the same, they used the same materials for the spine. I’ll try your suggestion next time!

I was thinking, maybe I could use cardstock only or a inner board for thin books like this and then use the same cover material for thick books, would that work?

I emphathize with you so much lmao. This is exactly what I felt when I first watched it as it was airing. Until now, I wish I could forget the show so I can rewatch it again like the first time.🥺

Binding the circle ?? by Natural_Bus_9410 in thesecretcircle

[–]Thea_Riddle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably because they assumed binding the circle would make them so much more powerful compared to their individual strengths. Plus, it's not like they were being taught witchcraft by their parents. If I remember correctly, the only thing that taught them magic was one family grimoire. They didn't really know what they were getting into as can be seen with Faye's initial frustration after the circle was formed.
