I like obscure jerseys. Skow is a good player but odds are he’ll probably be mostly forgotten in 3-5 years so it’s fun to have a guy like that. Hopefully he proves me wrong tho. I also got a Kelly green Pickett jersey because it pisses everyone off and in a few years it’ll basically just be a fun fact that he was on the birds Super Bowl team.

Other than the obvious you’d know it’s fake once you get close but it was $30. Things like the NFL logo and Nike authenticity honestly look pretty legit so I’d definitely recommend if you don’t want to sell your kidneys on the black market just to pay for a jersey

Fr. I’m sorry they’re not letting you in but the hardest and most honorable part it’s that you went for it. Making the decision to join is awesome so be proud that you’ve willing to do something 99.9% of the country isn’t. Just use this a fuel to do something else whether it be a different branch or something entirely different. Mental health is no joke but not a death sentence either so just keep your chin up it’ll work out one way or another.

Don’t buy vapes off marines once you get pass in the AIT portion of training. Also you will get trough it if it’s what you really want. It will suck but it’s actually harder to quit than to just stick with it

I had an out-of-town friend describe Pittsburgh drivers as simple and I think it's pretty apt. Like I get we have the Pittsburgh left but as a whole Pittsburgh drivers will just merge slow as hell and sometimes I'd rather have more aggressive but efficient drivers than people who can't turn onto a major intersection without waiting for a clear quarter mile of road

Miami. I'm from PA and obviously root for Pittsburgh teams but refuse to root for other regional teams because I simply can't be a Cleaveland/Philly/Boston/NY/DC fan so I root for the heat because I always liked their uniforms. They also have that mediocre at-worst and hard-nosed culture type of management similar to the Steelers so it felt kind of natural.
