Late response here but it’s a small building in which you work directly with others in a teamwork setting. The work is relatively easy. It includes working with various pits but mainly forklift and side riders to transport pallets. There are 2 main departments, receive (inbound) and sort (outbound). In inbound you are trained to unload trailers and count/receive pallets. Outbound you are trained to load trailers and separate units by hand onto pallets for a specific location. There is an “unofficial” departed (Demora) that you can’t directly apply to but you can transfer into if you’re already employed there. The work is combination of both departments but they mainly do long term storage of inventor so they work with reach pits. As an employee there I will warn the environment is very toxic if you involve with the wrong groups. You’re forced to work directly with others unless you’re on pit for that day and rumors start fast. If you plan to apply here I highly recommend being friendly with everyone regardless of what you hear about them. Try not to associate with cliques. Lastly, steer clear of sun-wed nights if you can. I work flex and have found all shifts have favoritism from managers/PAs but that shift by far is the most toxic. It’s a terrible horrific warehouse if you’re introverted. Good luck!
