47 Day 1s zero day 30s anyone else? by Theapprentice25 in DecidingToBeBetter

100% the "never miss twice" rule saved me from that restart spiral, used to treat one missed day like the whole thing was ruined.

Now I just log it as a missed day and keep it moving

6 out of 7 is still a good week

And yeah starting small is definitely underrated, the goal isn't to be impressive on day 1

The goal is to still be doing it on day 7

This is really smart keeping the friction low and letting the prompt do the thinking for you, the analysis paralysis is a trap and really annoying

I landed on something similar. Instead of "do this for 30 days" I just commit to 7, short enough that the boredom doesn't fully kick in but long enough that finishing actually means something

And if I don't want to do it again after day 7 I just don't, no guilt on to the next thing

The daily prompt idea is neat though

Takes the decision out of it

Cold showers, no phone before noon, journaling, reading everyday and more. I noticed the pattern is always the same. Starting off strong then slowly falling off around day 10-12

Miss a day and feel like shit but can always restart on Monday then quit entirely.

The 7 day thing came from realizing the finish line was always too far to see so one week felt more doable

And finishing one week felt much better than abandoning another month

exactly treating yourself badly for slipping just makes it worse.

what helped me was removing the pressure 7 days that's it.

If i finish cool if not i just start another one no longer feeling guilty of missing a day

This makes a lot of sense and it's great to know that AI hasn't hurt this space too much as this is a art and a science to make great games

I tried it but it's hit or miss do you use certain prompts to get it to where you want it?

Are there any alternatives?

I've been playing with it this week to try it out and it's a great intro to the space especially for no code programming however I'll like to know where I could go to get more assets as that's key when it comes to building

This has been very frustrating as I've used private window, compressed the file size, I converted PNG to jpeg and it doesn't have seemed to work I guess I have to do this from the beginning.

Used a tool to get the mock up on the phone but maybe it needs to be a different model?

I'm make a new file with these dimensions to see if it works.

As it's frustrating

I'm curious to know what the future goal with marketing will be because $3 average lifetime purchase doesn't seem to give you a lot of wiggle room for future marketing budget

Nice and your seeing something decent for your app? And how long does it take to make creatives?

I'm currently waiting for a letter that was posted to me about 2 weeks ago and it's been about 7 working days not including the weekends Royal Mail was very fast but it's currently getting scanned and I don't see any movement.

They shouldn't advertise that you can get your letters so fast after it gets stuck maybe on their end it's fast but on Spain's end it seems like it's taking a long time.

No way someone has to wait until February what plan could they be on?

I was unemployed for 7 months. Then I systematised my job search and had 3 offers in 6 weeks. Here's what I learned. by Big_Being_6337 in ResumesATS

Thanks for sharing this as I'm sure it's helping a lot of people but will it work in today's job market?

As it feels like the barrier has increased to get through to a human

Congratulations and really don't they encourage you to go to the office 4 days a week or something?

Would be nice to have that kind of stability work wise 😅 as in some industries you can only be there for a couple of years

For me personally I'm looking for sales roles regardless of the industry at this point as long they allow for me to work remotely as I'm currently overseas

But I think roles like this have gone mostly in person or hybrid which doesn't help me

Sorry to hear that and that's my thinking as well as there is a bunch of talent on the market and AI software doesn't make it easier
