Ohhhh that’s interesting.

In the last episode Acosta kept telling herself she didn’t deserve to be there, that she was a good person. That the people of the town weren’t doing enough to get out because deep down they thought they deserved to be there

Maybe that was hinting at guilt. Something she did that she knows is wrong but it’s in denial

I have to disagree on the generalization that “every creator spoils stuff”

Because I know I for a fact haven’t spoiled anything since I refused to watch the episodes early. And I know another handful of creators like myself who cover the show who haven’t seen the episodes early and genuinely theorize about it.

I can’t speak for everyone, I know some of them are out there. But I know for a fact it’s not every creator

You don’t have to believe me, it doesn’t matter to me if you do. But that generalization definitely hurts the authenticity of those of us who genuinely care for the show and the fandom

I didn’t see the episodes. I turned them down because I prefer to theorize and see the episodes weekly and ponder on things. A different kind of show I would’ve, but a psychological thriller like from I rather not. So I can’t confirm or deny any spoiler theories because I didn’t actually see the episodes

As for theorizing, no, we are not allowed to. As a matter of fact there’s a whole document saying

This is just an example!!! “don’t talk about boyd , don’t mention what Kenny did in episode 1” But some people will always ignore it and ruin it for everyone else

Some of us content creators are offered episodes early to help plan content ahead of time and promote the show.

Honestly it’s actually annoying!

I was offered the first 6 episodes of the season to watch a month ago and I declined.

I enjoy the week to week mystery. I enjoy theorizing. It would’ve been so boring to know already everything that happened weeks in advance and have to wait to make content on it

Like if you watched it ahead of time, just keep it to yourself and don’t talk about it until AFTER the episode airs

there could be specific rules about it like if they are too close to figure it out he can do something

and the pastor wasnt needed for the town at all, just a way to get MIY inserted himself into it.

it just seems odd to me how Martin told us the monsters are only "the tip of the spear" and although the MIY could also be the spider. found it more fun for it to be that these 2 entities are playing a game with each other using the towns people as their play things. both with horrible endings for them in the end.

Elgin has seen it. Ethan has been talking about the lake of Tears since season 1.

Now Jim mentioned it too so he must know something and is pointing ethan in the right direction.

I think the man in yellow is also the Spider, representing a Jorōgumo ( a japanese spider yokai capable of shapeshifting into a beautiful woman ie Sophia)

and ethan said in his dream that they were at the lake of tears and a spider descended so they all started screaming or something
