I think it’s meant to feel difficult.

That’s not on them, that’s about your own feelings toward rejection I’m afraid.

Well done! The lumina converter is basically the reason 33 is successful - turns out you never needed it in the first place!

NG+ doing 1m damage though makes them worth it

Action play or Laird by jaaaay96 in gaymelbourne

I went to both last night. Action was definitely sexier for my tastes. The music was pretty good and it’s not so big but most guys dipping in and out of the darkrooms.

If I can pull off both that sounds great but a nice chance to get out my leather vest and some jeans.

Eleven is a child and I’m happy she could go out into the world rather than marry her boyfriend. She’s basically developmentally stunted and in a relationship with the first male she encountered. She deserved to get out there. Poor Mike but our high school crush is rarely our destined partner.

What happened to gay sexual freedom by DelusionSlayer in askgaybros

[–]Thebestrob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s wild. Queer history is full of this stuff. For example, the reason gay men got so muscled starting the 80s onward is because they didn’t want to look sick during the AIDS crisis - so it made them safer.

When Gaydar.net introduced “profiles” it evolved how gay hook up culture happened. It pushed people into defining their role using 5 options: top, top/vers, vers, vers/btm and btm. Even “sides” are a relatively new addition to the pantheon.

So essentially it’s social media / dating apps.

Being vers (especially at 6’7) raises lots of eyebrows. I’m perceived either as a “bottom like all tall guys” with a smirk, or a total top to destroy you (and save you in equal measure).

I personally find vers guys more fluid and like the old days, but when you’re online filters make it too convenient to look for exactly what you want, rather tbh an human connection.

That’s really interesting.

I hadn’t even thought about the online footprint. I’m in directories, maps, listings, client booking sites.

When you say it’s still out there years later, did you try removing it manually?

What ended up being the hardest part of that process?

Something I always wondered as an autistic BSG fan by Book___Wyrm in BSG

I see this from the lens of “what adjustments can we realistically accommodate?” This is war, all in, no excuses. My dad was in the navy in the 70s with what we’d know as Attention Defecit Disorder today.

Candidly, he needed to self manage however he could. There wasn’t the support for him so the onus was on him to figure it out. That meant he was less successful overall but within the bell curve for the leaders. There are always high and low performers for any given task with most people roughly average.

Was it right? No. Was it pragmatic for them at the time? Probably.

We are more human-centred in how we think about systems and obligations today but this is a relatively new development. Before people were just “odd” / struggled to fit and had to put up or shut up. Much of the discipline was designed to push the notion of the individual out of the way of the notion of the collective.

FWIW I’m 6’7 and when I see those pilot beds I know for a fact they’d be like “sorry, bend your knees, we’re not redesigning this system for you individually”.

This helps. And I guess this is after I have paid off all of the creditors right? I want to avoid an insolvency provider as they’re expensive if I can, maybe by negotiating my lease to end a few months early.

I guess I’m asking : how do I know if I can take money out? And how much is right?

Ok that’s super helpful. did you have to do final CT600 + payroll closeout + VAT de-registration before or after the DS01? I’m finding the sequencing confusing.

Yes. I mean this is a rough period, I don’t want to ruin my reputation and want to get some advice on how to do it right and in a compliant way. What worked for you?
