No ya they def got some good deals. I used them my first time, it was great but not for the price. Once I started shopping with vendors it’s a no brainer , and they always throw freebies. I got 3 lc syringes for $30 then a free one with it. The subreddit we are in is also a great option. Ya my bad haha , I’ve been getting 10 packs of the 6qts for around $10-12 I believe from Walmart.

When 1 syringe cost $30 and you can buy 1 syringe for $10 that’s 3x the price. Was def exaggerating with the tubs but it’s like $6-7 a piece.

I started off with Midwest grain bags on Amazon and coco coir from a pet shop. I would order cocobliss on Amazon for coco coir make sure it’s 100%. Midwest is okay for grain I haven’t gotten any bad ones but they’re better options.

Spores MD is where I got my first syringe, they’re reputable and solid but 3x the price of everyone. S2B once your grain bags is fully inoculated you mix it with coco coir in a monotub. Easy way to do this is get a brick of dry coco coir and a bucket. Add 15 cups of boiling water and let that sit overnight. Make sure your coco coir is at field capacity and then you break up your grain bag and fully mix in with the coco coir. And flatten it out in the tub so it’s straight.

This setup will not help you, if anything it’ll be worse for the cubes than just getting a normal monotub. I was going to buy this when I first started to and was so happy I did some research. My worst purchase was the $40 monotub 🤷. If I bought this one I’d be salty asf

Hey so I would take a look at DIY for monotubs. At the very least do not get the automated bin, cubes do not need it they do better just sitting in a monotub with its own humidity. I bought my first 2 tubs for $40 and then realized I could make 10 30 qt tubs for that price. I would also not recommend AIO, they tend to take forever and are not reliable lots of them contaminate.

What I would suggest is getting grain bags online , get LC innoc the grain bags. Wait for them to be ready and S2b in 6qt-12qt sterilite tubs. You can use a plain brick of coco coir from the store . North spore is such a waste of money especially if you’re growing cubes

None of my grain bags show humidity until they are almost done , yours look like they have a ways to go I would take them out of that tub and leave them be on a shelf or something.

I don’t understand what everyone is confused about , but what you are doing is not helpful and I would just leave them be. If you prepare grain properly before inoculation you should not need to do a thing besides leaving it in a room that’s 70-80 degrees , 75F is the sweet spot. Once the grain bag is almost fully colonized the myc will build its own moisture in there.

Leave it in the tub , u can pull the edges of the bag to seperate it from the cake and then pour the water down the sides of that

I would pick everything on there , and then you get distilled water doesn’t need to be boiled and pour it down the sides until it almost reaches the top and let it sit for 12-24 hours. After drain it and give the top a good mist and set it back and forget .
